You don't have to have a bias, but it's pretty funny when you do because there's always that bias wrecker who will try to take the spot from your bias. 😂💜 My 1st bias was V...then JHope took his spot & has been my bias for a while BUT RM is starting to sneak his way into that spot. 😭😂💜 I'm still OT7 all the way because BTS wouldn't be completed without each & every member. #ARMYsince2014

@@GOTGames you’re in trouble… I asked you to watch the music videos for this performance first you crazy silly dude you! Lol I’m glad you enjoyed it .. and I know it’s hard to resist watching these performances bc we hype them up bc they really are just incredible and some of the best live performances I’ve ever seen!!! I just know that they hit so different when you kinda know the songs and concepts … it will make them even more enjoyable than they already are when you’ve got that knowledge under your belt! It makes the outfits and concepts for the stages make a lot more sense and easier to follow along … if that makes sense. You should watch their older music videos and dance practices maybe together in one video if you can handle a couple mvs and dance practices in one video of you want to shoot for long videos lol trust me… we love the long videos… if you put out 3 hour videos we would still ask for more lol if not the music videos and dance practices… then maybe “rise of bangtan” the docuseries on KZfaq bc it starts not just with bts pre debut and the old clips and interviews or video diary type things… but it gives some more insight into the Korean music industry and how it’s completely different from any I have seen before… gives a little background to how kpop started… who the major players are abs company’s… and why what bts has done for their country and culture is looked at as being very different from the norm there… or the norm in western culture…. It’s a must fo any baby army who don’t have a huge understanding of the Korean entertainment industry’s and culture…. This series has like 18 episodes that are like 40 ish minutes but it also has some bonus content for each episode …. But I hope to see you be able to see this stuff… the behind the scenes stuff of their journey… is mind boggling when you see them here today and who they have evolved into individually and as a group… and it shows how their company does things much differently than the other ones as well which is also such an important factor that can be hard to understand without seeing these types of things! Love to see it and love your journey!

- J-Hope appeared with 14 performers doing the traditional drum dance which is known as Samgo-Mu dance. He had such little space to dance but was still able to pull off his dynamic dancing skills. - JiMin doing a traditional fan dance called Buchae dance. He received an award for this fan dance performance. The Appreciation Plaque for his fan dance was awarded by the 'Kim Baek Bong Fan Dance Conservation Society,' stating that 'By having re-interpreted the beautiful Korean fan dance in a unique way, Jimin had made a great contribution in raising the status and aesthetic value of the Korean fan dance globally - As for JungKook, he was doing a traditional mask dance. *This performance also have rehearsal/practice video on BANGTANTV notice how in the background music there was the sound of Korean traditional instruments? It was played Live NOT a pre-recorded When all 7 of them appeared on stage, the fanchants was heard loudly and clearly. making their stage presence even bigger and epic. By the end of BTS performance, the Other idols who watched from their sitting gave BTS a standing ovation and big applause. *If you also interested in how all this epic performances was created, BTS have all the "behind the scenes" for all their activities (music awards, concert, MV, or other historic events in their careers).

@@mandeefarley1399 they did, they are the final performance. In Korea music awards usually the LAST Performance is the winner of the MAIN award. BTS bag home The biggest awards, which received the best artist of the year award and the best album of the year award for its “Love Yourself: Tear” album. Theu also took home the best rap/hip-hop award for its mega hit “Fake Love,” and the coveted Netizen’s Choice award, as well as the top 10, Kakao Hot Star and global artist awards.

The saying, once you JimIN you'll never JimOUT fits perfectly in my case 😁 The others take their turns wrecking me every single day, J-Hope leading the wreck-pack 😏 I absolutely adore them all, like my own children, Jimin is just the first who caught my eyes and I later discover how much I can relate to him. It's hard to explain really. It's just the way it is 😊💜

As many armies know, this performance was of course to celebrate Korean culture and music. BTS was critisized by some in Korea for being 'too westernized'. This was their response. Genius. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I totally recommend listening to more of their vast discography (literally hundreds of songs) before delving further into their MMA/MAMA performances specifically. When you can recognize the songs it just makes listening to them live that much better! 💜

@@GOTGames sometimes live performances have very different backing music or are modified in some way. Obviously do what you’d prefer:) but we hope you’ll still be reacting to the music videos etc of the actual songs. Also, when you ask if we want longer videos, we don’t always mean that the BTS video you’re watching needs to be long. You could pick a song, watch the MV for it, watch behind the scenes of the MV, a lyrics break down/explanation for the song, watch the dance practice for it, and then watch a live performance of the song and in the end have a reaction video that is nice and long with you coming out fully appreciating the song :) 💜

I actually agree with you. Either way I’m gonna still totally love and watch whatever Luke does. But I feel if he had known the songs and the lyrics beforehand, he’ll then have way better experience watching these shows and enjoy the BTS journey even more. Like IDOL for instance it has such empowering message behind it but you wouldn’t know if this performance is the first time listening to it xx

It personally offends me every time they don’t show the HEIGHT of Jimin’s high kick in the final chorus of Idol - please watch and appreciate it it other performances you see - he just gives 110% EVERY TIME 🤩 All of them are perfect always but that high kick steals my heart 💜

Every time I watch one of the MMA performances I’m so mad at how BAD the filming is. MMA is notorious for missing the best parts with their terrible camera work/choice of shots.

Since you’ve seen “Idol” now, you need to check out their performance on The TonightShow with Jimmy Fallon. They were on every night for five days with a different performance each night. The one for Idol was phenomenal!!! There’s also a video that explains all of the Korean symbolism in the Idol MV. SO MUCH CONTENT!

What amazes me is how all ages love their music. I am 62 years old and last June I had covid. I promised my granddaughter that I would look into their music and learn all about them. Having covid all I could do was lay around and listen to their music and watch Run BTS. I have listened to their music every day since then. Their talent is just so unbelievable! When you watch this again - which I'm sure you will - note the words on the mirror in the MV at the beginning. The words say "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi". If you read it backwards it says "I show not your face but your heart's desire" . Also, Jimin was awarded a plaque in appreciation for his fan dance by the Kim Baek Bong Korean Fan Dance Conservation Society. It said "By having reinterpreted the beautiful Korean fan dance in a unique way, you have made a great contribution in raising the status and aesthetic value of the Korean fan dance globally.” 💜💜💜💜💜💜

My husband, two daughters, and I have been to their concerts. Last year in LA and this year in Las Vegas. Incredible. Can’t wait for their next concert. 1. TBH, IDOL was not kinda my cup of tea when i listened it first. However, their live performance always makes the song better. After watching MMA 2018, IDOL performance automatically became one of my best recommendation for BTS beginners : ) 2. As you watched MMA 2019 and MMA 2018, I can't imagine any western award shows which can handle their stage like this. 3. Next, MAMA 2019 (N.O + We are bulletproof pt.2) is also gorgeous!!!!!

Their togetherness as a group is unmatchable and you feel that in their auras, they exude their energy to the audience because they care so much. This isn't just about talent. This is them, the care they put into their work, their fans and their sincerity... uncomparable. so MAMA 2016 is next :D Not mma but the MAMA 2018 award speech is and was a shock to many Armies and while it was a sad moment, it is also a proud moment especially today. So i would suggest you do watch that but only after you feel like you really know them through many other materials.

I know exactly how you feel. In 2017 I became army at the age of 47. I have found so many army and view them as life long friends. Don’t know how BTS did this, I love them and army unconditionally and will be living down this rabbit hole forever.

I would really love it if you actually did some Run BTS episodes as part of these longer reactions. We could recommend some episodes if you're interested, but I feel like you'd really like them and it would probably make you feel even closer to BTS, because their personalities really shine in that show.

This is such an amazing performance, the way they infused traditional elements into everything -- the instrumentation, the dance, the costumes, even some of the exclamations used in the lyrics. I think I might actually prefer 2018 to 2019. For me, it's just emblematic of everything that makes BTS so special. For longer videos, I'd recommend watching one of their reality shows such as Run BTS or Bon Voyage. And I will definitely be seeing you at the concert when that day finally comes!! 💜💜💜

They are our happy pill. I personally know people who got out of depression because of them and then I hear/ read a lot of stories online too how BTS helped them. When you watch their MVs and performance videos you will be in awe but when you get to know their personalities, how they write their songs, what they are about then your love will just be…….. deep…. No words…. This is so legendary, I'm crying thinking about how much they did, how hard they worked and how much they shared during these years with us💜 I'm so excited for their comeback and the title track "Yet to come"!! So happy to be sharing it with you too. It will be linked to their HYYH series (The most beautiful moment in life), a series of album on youth and many many deep topics. They are indeed emotional healing. 💜 I went through hard times during the pandemic, I got stuck living alone in the other side of the world away from my family and friends. I'm a big music enthusiast but have never felt this way about any artist .. Fun fact time: The lighted boxes at the start of Fake Love actually spell out the word PERSONA which was a big hint to their next album which was titled Map of the Soul: Persona. They're sneaky about giving hints about albums during these award shows and it's fun to go back later to see how they were there all along. This was my first series of award shows back in 2018 when I discovered the boys earlier that summer and I was blown away. I'd love to see them bring something like this to the American stage even though we got just a small snippet with their Grammy performance of Butter to prove that they're worth the hype. Airplane Pt 2 gives a nod toward Hobi's solo called Airplane where the verses are the same in each song and it was a fun way to include both bodies of work into one song. It was also pre-recorded to give them time to change and get the stage ready for that massive performance of Idol.

Jimin trended and won a special award after this MMA. Because of it, Jimin is the only entertainer with 3 national level awards. Other BTS members have 2. Other K-pop idols have 0.

I feel the same way. I have never had a band make me feel like this. They are so amazing and versatile. They truly are unique and beautiful. I'm 43 years old, and I love them so much. I rarely listen to any other music. I can sing almost all of their songs.

I had the ridiculous good fortune to be in the crowd for this performance. It was surreal. The idol performance was so incredible I could do nothing but gasp (and cry). Part of the reason it was so meaningful is that BTS released IDOL as a declaration and a clapback to people who said they had forgotten their roots and were selling out to the Western music industry. Not only is IDOL itself full of references to Korean culture and history, both musically and lyrically; this performance showcased exactly how 'out of touch' BTS is with their Korean roots - I think we can all see that is.. not at all. They basically opened a Korean cultural festival on stage and said, you'll have to try harder if you want to insult us. Positive energy, don't take shit, just walk the walk KINGS. 💜🙌

It’s so funny the guys mentioned in interviews and Vlives they don’t think their bodies will let them perform like this as they get older. But Psy who is in 40s just came back with an energetic performance just like this. That that is hard. I don’t mean to learn but to perform as much as they did throughout the day. So if he can do it so can our boys. I look forward to watching them perform in their 30s 40s 50s and beyond. They are just an amazing group of talented guys. I truly feel that there will never be another group ever, with this magic that encompasses their music, their words, their personalities and the love they allow us to feel from them, to them and for armies all over the world. During Airplane2, the crowd is CHANTING the guys names: “KIM NAMJOON, KIM SEOKJIN, MIN YOONGI, JUNG HOSEOK, PARK JIMIN, KIM TAEHYUNG, JEON JUNGKOOK, BTS, BTS, BTS, (very quickly) then start over! It takes practice. At LA,CA, SO-FI, I tried but kept forgetting one or the other (usually Jung Hoseok)! It’s so amazing to hear, the guys love it!

This is my fave BTS awards show performance bar none and then the intriguing version of the Rock version of Fake Love at Mama. Everyone always refers to the 2019 performance, but their homage to traditional Korean music and dance makes this my favorite.

Idk what it is but I do understand what you're trying to say. BTS is beyond music to me. To be quite honest they've saved me, changed my life since I found them. There's a unique connection between BTS and ARMY and I feel like you can feel it or understand. It's just different. I've been fans of other artists before but there's a genuine, sincere connection I feel whenever it's BTS. 💜

OMG! I feel the same way you do when it comes to BTS. It’s more than their music that grabs you. They make you feel things . They bring you joy and comfort. They make you question things in your life, but they also help you through your struggles too. They may never realize the impact they have on my life but I truly love, adore and respect these 7 men.
