Futebol moderno é físico, Pelé destruiria facilmente essas amebas de hoje 😂😂

an 18 year old Pele would be the best in the world, as would a 28 year old Pele, in todays game, only player around today that was on his level is Messi, and I would take Pele's physical attributes over Messi's , but if Pele was in todays game it would be him and Messi then everyone else , Pele is almost like the middle ground between CR7 and Messi in terms of attributes and ability, hes like CR7 completeness with Messi's touch and vision and game IQ

Pele played for Brazilian club Santos, and for the Brazilian National team. Ate the end of his career he even played in the New York Cosmos, in the USA

It’s worth taking into account that the ball was covered in leather at the time, meaning it would get heavier if there was moisture in the grass. Rules for offside and tackles were also different back then.

Yep Offside was far stricter , there was no "interfering with play", Yellow cards only happened in 1970, Pele would only have caught the very beginnings of that, and of course many tackles we deem reds today would not have even been fouls back then (I know you probably already know this but leaving the comment here for HBK)

My guy is playing with a super heavy ball (especially when it gets wet), at a time where there was no repression against fouls, so he spent entire games getting hit with impunity and was the most unique player in the history of the game. Anyone who thinks he wouldn't be the best in the world today (or ever) with ease is a complete idiot who doesn't understand football. The gap between his skills and those of his opponents is huge and obvious. There is no reason to think that with all the improvements in the game nowadays he would become a worse player

Also since you also react to movies: The pele movie (basically a crazy dramatized cool non-documentary movie about his life) Victory (soccer movie classic, set in World War II where the allies put together a soccer team (with pele) to play against the German team

Also, if you enjoy awesome goalkeeping, react to Manuel Neuer, he´s argueably the GOAT of keepers, and he´s still active
