The whole band has pretty much remained the same since this video was shot, except the drummer in this video who left the band in 2014 and was replaced by their current drummer Clay Aeschliman permanently in 2016. Tim Henson (guy on the left) and Scott LePage (far right) are both considered virtuoso guitarists and two of the most influential guitarists of this generation. Tim in particular is know for his unique sound but I think what really sets him apart is his unique composing style that has already been called out by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani that will be remembered. He's like the Paganini of guitar not using a single technique but mixing them like colors that he can use to paint his creations. He's not held back by convention. His mind, they way he approaches composition is just different. Just watch any of his making of videos. I've not seen any other artist approach making music they way that Tim does. Its really interesting. KZfaq brought me here because of your The Warning reaction, but saw the Babymetal hoodie and decided to look around. For more Polyphia I recommend G.O.A.T, Playing God, and Ego Death (w/ Steve Vai). Another band I would suggest is Electric Callboy specifically We Got The Moves, Pump It, Techno Train, and FckBoi. If you prefer live performances, then the EC videos to catch are the Denver performances of those songs. Of course, if you want to ensure your channel gets blasted with traffic, react to anything from Ren, specifically Hi Ren and Tale of Jenny and Screech *the whole 13 minute version as one), the Renegades flood every reactor, and Ren himself is a huge supporter of reactors. With Ren you have to hit multiple songs because he's not confined to one genre, and you'll learn just how multi talented he is. Djent is more of a sound, that has now become a subgenre. When you fully palm mute a very distorted guitar it makes a "djent" sound.
