Glen, Very nice, insightful na upload. A ride to remember. Kahit saang bansa ka nakatira, pag gagamit ka nang kalsada, you must practice situational awareness and obey the laws of traffic. Dito sa States you have to be wary of stoned, drunk and distracted motor drivers, but as a whole drivers obey the laws and the road infrastructures are good to excellent. There are of course occasional exceptions, but as a whole the laws are enforced, obeyed and if you get caught blatantly breaking the laws, you get severely punished and held accountable. Unfortunately, specially sa Pinas, andaming uncompliant at ill-disciplined na road users, and law enforcement is inconsistent, add mo pa ang inconsistent quality nang mga cycling infrastructures. If you really love cycling, you have to develop the skills and self-confidence to occasionally be riding down busy city streets. Your son will forever be grateful of all the cycling wisdom that you are teaching him in order to safely enjoy this beautiful sport. Ingat lagi. Maraming salamat!!
