Survival was the official song of the London 2012 Olympics! Muse submitted the song and never expected it to be chosen. They also all took a turn running with the Olympic Torch that year! Love my Muse boys ❤️

They were also pissed off and took the piss as usual when they were asked to mime playing and singing for the games. If you want a laugh look at Italian Muse live set to see how vengeful they can be at producers :D. It's a fun song, I just wish they had been allowed to play it properly.

@@vattmann1387 They've never ever liked being asked to mime! I've been a fan since the release of Uno and they've played up every time they've been told to mime for any performance. I think it's to make their displeasure known!

@@vattmann1387 I laughed so hard when I first saw that performance of Uprising and the presenter fully believed everything. I recall Matt also went pretty crazy when 'playing' New Born on Top of the Pops

Went to see muse last year for 4th time live at the Rome olympic stadium was my 2nd show they a stadium band which is a dying breed need more of them if you get a chance beg borrow or steal a ticket never be disappointed best live shows I need go again played hysteria at my daughters birth took her to her first muse concert at age of 16 we still bond to this song now

If you look how tiny they are on stage , those flames are like 30 metres high or more .. when that first bit kicks in... goosebumps every time . Loved your reaction as always
