Great tips! Definitely going to implement them into my gameplay, however I really do think that moment of screwing someone over and looking into their soul for the atrocity that I've just committed is going to be my strategy from here on out! Thanks for the video, very helpful

😂😂😂 thank you for your tips. For me it was obvious that I have to build a food-engine, but unfortunately I am not able to build that engine in the short amount of time available😂😂😂 I am always losing big time 😢 So Agricola is not the right game for me… I prefer Glasroad - the artwork is atrocious but I like the mechanics 😃👍🏻😊

The 'tips' in this video is simply telling you how the game works.... Beginners already know you need animals or plants to get food.. that's not a tip bro.. its literally the basic core of the game! A "how to play Agricola" will be FAR FAR more informative than this hack. Telling a person a core aspect of the game is not a tip....

There's a big difference between teaching people the rules of a game and helping them with the strategies or tactics of a game. Having taught many people this game over the years, I've identified that beginners don't typically identify that they will be best served picking one route for food production; livestock or grain/bread. Note I'm not telling them "Get plants or animals for food"....bro. Rather, I'm pointing out that, if you want to win, your food engine better focus on one and not the other. A "how to play Agricola" video would be a rules video, not a tips video. This is a "how to win" video, hence identifying the specifics of your food engine requirements, and the additional tips of focusing on getting a third family member asap, identifying your card strategy early and keeping track of opponent's moves. Those are things you won't find in the rulebook because they are tips on "how to win", not "how to play". Cheers for commenting!
