Good morning PUTHETTU squad, That green leaves is called tendu patta, known as Indian Ebony, one of the most important NTFP (non timber forest product) species in central India. The leaves of Tendu are used for wrapping bidi. The leaves have also been extensively used in Indian traditional medicine as a diuretic, styptic, laxative, and carminative. It is used to cure night blindness as well.

I was in M.P for 18 months (1968-69). You are talking about the beedi plant is seasonal. After the harvest this plant remained on the ground. Normally they come alive right after the winter season. You see this plant Nagpur Bombay route. I heard now it is 4 or 6 lanes highway.

It's Surma River in Bangladesh. The pebbles in the river is used to make PSand and further process for making cement. Dandewada is terrorist infested area, there was a dreadful attack on CRPF / BSF couple years before and many soldiers succumbed to injury, some maoist where also killed in the incident. So Dandewada is a famous spot in India.
