The Transjakarta Buses actually very efficient in terms of prices that you can explore the whole Jakarta for just Rp. 3,500 per trip and actually the price has always been like that since the transportation introduced in 2005 😅.

There's a sky bridge that connects Central Park and Neo Soho actually.. it's beautiful especially at night when you can see all the lights. If you're on the bridge and look down, you'll see a garden where people are sitting and hanging out. Also get the transJakarta bus route 1 (Blok M - Kota) I think it's pass through your first shelter. During the night you can see all the lights and skyscraper around Thamrin and Sudirman street. The bus shelters around these streets already renovated and look good. The bridges (from bus shelter to streets) also good. Try to stop at shelter Sarinah, Bunderan HI, Tosari, GBK, Kejaksaan (integrated with MRT line).

Drinking milk after is the best way to counter spiciness. I guess its okay to ask the seller of any food establishment to lessen the spiciness of the food that im going to eat otherwise i wouldnt be abled to enjoy it.

Did you skip the outdoor garden in Central Park? actually that's the main attraction 😅 cause they had water fountain show, fish lake, pet garden and awesome open bridge to the Soho Mall (who had Indoor Aquarium) 😉

You guys should try martabak telur( crispy omelette with some meat) and martabak manis/terang bulan( indonesian style pancake with diffrent toppings, my favorite is cocholate and chesee) . It's a very famous street food here and they taste so good

Hello there, I hope you have all the good experience while being in Jakarta. For transportation using busway/transjakarta, you can use mostly any e-money card available in stores, including KAI access cards which belongs to KAI commuter line train transportations. AFAIK, you can refill or top up nominals in transjakarta station only for transjakarta cards, and KAI access cards also can only top up in KAI commuter line stations.

If you visit Jogja / Yogyakarta, please AVOID scam inside any art gallery or batik gallery (fake batik gallery is near Keraton), they're scam runs by thug, they will force you to buy art with expensive price, if you dont buy anything then you can't get out of that place Also avoid riding "becak" (tricycle vehicle), as I said, they also work together, they will force you to enter scam art gallery Please for your SAFETY

I got hiccup too when eating spicy food in an empty stomach (before eat something else). I got gerd disease and seldom to eat spicy food. If I wanna eat something spicy I eat the rice first, until my stomach not too empty

@@DanandLyn Better with warm drink while eat spicy food. Because cold drink only will give more the burn sensation after the cold is gone n there is also some health problem (such as slow down the disgestion, losing nutrition etc). U can read more detail about it on health article about cold drink with spicy food. But u can drink cold drink after the burn sensation is gone (better 30 minutes after eat)

If you guys like coffee, i would suggest to try Kopi Kenangan. It's Indonesian origin, the signature coffee is "Kopi Kenangan Mantan". Anyway, i don't have the intention to endorse it though, just sharing my day to day fav coffee here in Indonesia. Hope you guys enjoy Indonesia. Stay safe.

Welcome to my backyard lol. Cupbob, chatime and gindaco are all owned by one company. Too bad you didn’t explore the park and the aquarium (yes there is sea world inside the mall, in neo soho). Btw, Indonesia is really good at frying chicken, try our KFC and compare it with your own country, I might be biased but I had tried several KFC outside Indonesia like Hongkong, Tokyo, Shanghai… nothing beat Indonesia KFC. Then there is our local brand richcheese (if you dare to eat spicy things, lvl 5 richcheese can practically murder you)
