India majority have milk (dairy) in chai..Very very few in metros have soy milk..it's just a new thing in cities .The majority prefer it in the good old way with Milk..

@@IndianInIsrael Revi, most western milk is A1 milk. But desi cows , buffaloes are A2 milk. So is goat milk. Indians are used to A2 but I am afraid even indian milk is corrupted with A1.

Point to note: Classic 'MASALA' dosa is with potatoes. There also regular dosas without potatoes. Paper dosa, neer dosa, set dosa, ghee roast dosa, onion rava dosa and on and on and on...

You can also eat it with spoon & fork. Masala dosa is basically, Dosa, green Chutney, white Coconut Chutney & Sambhar. Couple of years ago, a popular food publication from Europe or US, the country I am not sure; listed some dishes from around the world one should try in one's lifetime. Masala Dosa was on top of the list that you should tryin your lifetime.

Nice VLOG! 2:23 Only Masala Dosa is traditionally made with Mashed potatoes. Nice job addicting the locals to Indian food! 😃 One good healthy thing about dosas (Also idlis)is it is made out of fermented batter - So Indians have been eating fermented food long before it has now become a fad (for gut health)!

Its not Dosa, its Masala Dosa. And that gravy is Sambar gravy, actually Sambar has a lots of vegetables in it. That coconut chatney doesn't look right texture. Come to South India to get the real taste of South Indian food. Monsoon has started, so its best time to visit India. Come to Kerala first.

the chutney on the right is onion chutney. I don't think it is sambar. Not all dosais come with potato (called masala). Only masala dosai comes with potato in the middle.
