Dude. Those first couple of seconds were a huge hype up man! That edit was sick. That hybrid hunter looks like an interesting to throw. Nice fish you got out there! It would be interesting to see what other fish were in that first spot hanging out with that little bass.

Thanks, it isn’t often you see the fish hit up close like that. It made the edit easy. The HH definitely is a great pond crank bait. I really like exploring that old golf course for just that reason. I bet it was some awesome fishing before hurricane Harvey washed it out. These ponds were under 15 feet rushing water when Harvey flooded cypress creek.

Hybrid Hunter is definitely one of my top lures. I catch a ton of bass on it, pretty much year round. I usually do a stop and go retrieve and a lot of times they hit it on the pause. Almost every strike I get on the Hybrid Hunter are really vicious. Love it.

Yeah you can see in the video the Bass smokes the thing. These poor bass are recovering from a brutal summer last summer. The oxygen got so low in the water and the fish looked so sick I stopped fishing it. So to see one hit like that was awesome. We have been getting some good rains lately. Lots of crawfish holes. I hope we don’t get another bad summer drought. They should recover nicely.

Thanks bro! When I first seen that bait, I was thinking it would be killer. And it is a great bait. It comes through cover really well for a bank angler. I hope it does well for you this year. God bless man.

Yep, I’m not normally a crank bait guy because these fish are so pressured, but on the right days they can hit.
