This was my first night in Amritsar India before I explored and learned about the Golden Temple. The first night was about enjoying the company and the people of Punjab.

Sikhs place of worship is called Darbar Sahib (Temple) Four door open to every human being from 4 corners of earth regardless of religion, colour,disability. Free kitchen Guru Ka langar feed over 100,00 pilgrims in one day serving only vegetarian food. Sikhs are animal lovers.

You are in Punjab.People speak Punjabi here,but people can understand Hindi too and some can speak English.There are some ethics to go inside holy places .Kindly follow them .Cover your head and go bare footed in side main premises. There always a long queue to go in side main Gurudwara that is (Harimandir/Golden Temple ) It is one of the most sacred places of Sikh people.Any one can go inside . There is also world's largest community kitchen ,Lagar(holy food) is free.It totally runs on donations and 'sewa'( voluntary service). You will feel blessed if you go there.

Hey buddy From next time just research about the culture where you going, we do not accept and appreciate people who eat meat or drink alcohol before going inside temple, either you have to take bath or not go there From next time please be aware buddy this is disrespectful, i got angry but i appreciate that you go there 🙏🏻
