I know this is a hot take, but I LOVED the CGI for MODOK. His character is just so wacky and big, even in the comics, that there's no one "correct" way to put him into live action. I think his design in this movie is amazing.

My issue is that in the Comics he is a big baddie that appears across multiple titles and multiple heroes interact with, but here they've killed him off without the majority of Marvel heroes even knowing he exists.

Yes, please watch Moon Knight. I like Moon Knight because it seems like the type of show with a strong message and a new perspective on the MCU. New in the sense that it is like a new world/area of a world/universe in itself. Hopefully you get what I mean if you choose to watch the show.

People say that Kang in Quantumania was underwhelming, and I could see that the first part, but in reality Kang is weakened in this film. A lot of people don't really understand that. Kang is weakened because he is in the Quantumn Realm. Now, if Kang was outside of the Quantumn Realm and had access to time, then Kang would have been more capable and more powerful like traveling through time, manipulating time, and summoning any weapon from any point in time just like in the comics. And I liked how they did this because it proves that a weak Kang, or even the weakest Kang, can be a big threat, like how Kang conquered the Quantumn Realm, like a whole dimension basically, a weakened Kang conquered a whole dimension. It just goes to show the capability of Kang, and I hope that they can expand on this Kang stuff like every Kang after the one in Quantumania will be stronger and stronger just showing the danger of Kang as a whole.

People also seem to forget that even in the comics Kang was defeated a lot. What makes him such a big threat (and in a nice contrast from being a carbon copy of the unbeatable force that was Thanos) is that Kang keeps coming back. If Thanos was omnipotent, then Kang is omnipresent. There will always be another Kang to rise up as the Conquerer.

So Black Panter: Wakanda Forever was actually the final movie of Phase 4, with the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special being a bit of an intermission before Quatumania started Phase 5. The Holiday Special is actually canon by the way, so you could watch it before Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3, but it's not something that you have to watch. There's only one bit of information that carries over to the next movie and it shouldn't ruin the movie not knowing it but it may seem out of nowhere without the context of the special.

While I did enjoy this movie, it did have some problems. If Janet had just taken an hour to explain her time/experience in The Quantum Realm this whole movie could have been avoided. Also, I actually didn't mind Darren Cross becoming M.O.D.O.K., but his development/redemption felt rushed since he went from a serious threat to a comic relief character to a hero way too quickly. & for a movie called "Ant Man & The Wasp" Hope didn't do that much in it.

People have complained about the current phase, but they are laying TONS of groundwork for an amazing long arching storyline like Infinity war was. The movies in the next couple of years are set to be massive.

So "Secret Wars" won't happen here just cause she said it was a secret dimension lmao. In the comics it was on this alternate battle earth or something. Also please watch Moon Knight. It is very good and I enjoyed it. Do it off camera if you need to. You will keep getting confused if you keep skipping shows. 25:39 So Kang had a way to travel the multiverse right? And other parallel universes exist right? So therefore he can just boop into a universe and murder Thor while our Thor is still alive. It is two different people. Also he is weaker in the Quantum Realm. He can't just murder everyone. But this still shows how strong he is despite that.

Hank was onto something about making the ants smart and weaponizing them. Cause if we did that irl with every single one of the 2 trillion(2.5mil:1 ant to human ratio) ants on earth then our technology would be hundreds of years ahead of its time, even if it was only 2.5mil ants it would still be so effective. Also having an army like that would be pretty much unstoppable especially if theres like venomous bullet ants

Darren's story is a bit weird, but it's kinda understandable that his mind got so warped in the end. He's a floating head and who knows what kind of changes he went through in the process. Although ending imo would've been better if Scott actually died to keep Kang in Quantum Realm, the line "We both just have to lose" was so powerful, it's a shame to not capitalize on it.

Janet being the hero, "Oh, you are killing people!" All of that sh!t, and Kang is over there like, "Oh, that doesn't matter." And now Loki being like, "Oh, playing god." And "How do you decide who lives and who dies?" No BS, at the final part of the Multiversal Saga people will be routing for Kang, or saying that Kang is right, like as Kang said, and the other versions of him and those things, they will destroy the timelines, or the incusions will destroy the Universes and timelines anyway, so there is no real way to save the people that Janet mentions, because they are all going to die anyways, and so they would be left with, "it's either they die, or everyone dies," kind of situation, where sacrificing a few lives and universes means and ensures the survival of everyone else, or at least save as much as can be saved, because in this situation with Kang and the incursions and all that not everyone can be saved.
