Yep, the rhythmic styling of the movie is absolutely fantastic! Also, being a driver in the commission of a crime, or in this case, multiple commissions of multiple MAJOR crimes, makes you an accessory of those crimes! The 25 year sentence with 5 year minimum for any parole might SOUND like a lot, but it was EXTREMELY generous of the court to our "hero".

The red car in the beginning is a subaru and some off them are fast from factory and are rear wheel drive so ideal for drifting. Ontop off that they often get tuned as do a lot off other Japanese cars. I know someone that has a mk4 supra (originally 325hp) that's now tuned to over 900 hp and still not finished. The tuning scene for Japanese cars is just crazy like that.
