It's sad because some people have no self-preservation skills and don't recognize evil when it's in their faces. They should have left at the first sign of trouble. They didn't know anyone in that town, and those kids were a clear indication that it was not a nice place to be ..

Just watched this and it was hard to get through, I was yelling at my tv the whole time. The couple made so many dumb decisions but the kids ruthlessness was the most infuriating part. Their initial motive for terrorizing the couple was nonexistent and at the end it all felt so pointless idk

As always a wonderful reaction to one of the most realistic horror movies. Jack O’Connell is great(the worst of the kids), he was in Skins(cult teenage tv series), but also played a heroic role in Unbroken.

Oh what a throw back I seen this years ago and was like NEVER AGAIN!! but I love you and it’s a privilege to go through that trauma with you ❤

I recall I went to see the original Eden Lake Approx 18 years ago in the theatre in Belgium, it is a British one ,so took place in a neighboring country and could totally imagining it happen to me ( and my former gf ) back then! I was shocked and never forgot that movie, and we saw it by chance because there wasn’t any other movies showing to chose and we knew nothing when we decided to see it at that time! Really unsettling and so real.
