After listening to ZEN, you will be shocked when you listen to ODYSSEY. By the way, SAKI, who left NEMOPHILA, was the oldest and most experienced member of the band, and has been supporting the growth of NEMOPHILA since its inception. She decided to leave NEMOPHILA after fulfilling her role with the significant milestone of the Budokan live performance, shifting to a wide range of musical activities, and entrusted NEMOPHILA to the remaining four members.

Saki is still with the band at this point. They have not released any new original music since she left. They have done a few new covers and some new versions of old songs that they call "evolution versions." It is all great. Japan is definitely where the great metal bands are coming from right now. They have at least "ten" great metal bands for every "one" that the rest of the world has.

Rise and life are some of my favorites from these ladies yes a member left because of creative differences but they are still amazing and the guitarist that left has her own solo project still amazing

`In this video there are still 5 members, the guitarist Saki (usually on the right side of the stage) left later. The bassist Haraguchi-san composed this and said she wanted a song to meditate to. If you watch closely they briefly do a meditation pose. I am not sure that is the way flower Nemophila is pronounced in English, but that is the way they pronounce their band's name.

I love this tiny heavy ladies, they can play so hard and fast. And Mayu ist the perfect singer. She has a very natural voice and is also pretty good in normal singing or growling. All five of them are high level musisians. Sadly Saki left the band. But they don´s give up and they are working hard as a four piece band. A very unique band.

Americans generally say Neemofila. The band says it more like the English version like Neh instead of Nee. When I saw them in Nagoya Mayu said Neemofila then laughed and corrected herself. Saki laughed too then Mayu said Neemofila Americano. I’m sure you can say both but to the band it’s Neh-mophila. Nemophila have just been doing concerts with one other Japanese band each night. Before each concert they release a cover of that particular band then play the song live with the band. Check out their Loudness cover for some old style 80s metal.

Welcome to the Pedel-heads! Mayu does do harsh on pitch and not monotone like many other harsh vocalist. Which really sets her apart.

I consider myself lucky to have seen Nemophila while Saki was still with the band. She's been keeping busy since leaving Nemophila, and while I will continue to support her and Nemophila going forward, I can't say that this was addition by subtraction.

Es una tremenda baja, se rompió la magia como banda hermosa única por lo que transmitian todas en conjunto, sus ocurrencias sus solos y duelos extraordinarios de guitarras! Que tristeza más grande, siempre faltará la altiva y orgullosa Saki! Al menos nos dejó varios blue rays magníficos, unas verdaderas joyas de conciertos! Algo es algo! Pero se truncó mi sueño de verlos juntos algún día! Saki regresara algún día, estoy seguro!

Hanabie and Nemophila in the same day. Can't go wrong with that.This song, written by Haraguchi San, has big time Slipknot vibes. She is a big fan I love unhinged banshee Mayu. If you want a different side to the band, check out Life or Odyssey. If you wanna keep getting your face ripped off then Oiran live or Dissension official mv is the way to go. Peak musically, Adabana is their best. Underrated song is Hypnosis. Crushing riff, beautiful melody. Love watching you navigate this amazing Japanese Scene.

Saki was an integral part of Nemophila, she was older than the other members and like a big sister in the group. In fact Saki has been a major part of the Japanese metal scene for over 10 years and has acted as a mentor to a lot of you female guitarists. Before COVID she created a project called World Guitar Girls Collection which consisted of young Japanese female shredders from various bands touring playing medleys of popular metal guitar songs. At one point she was simultaneously in 3 bands including Nemophila. At the end of the day, I think she didn't have the time needed to focus on Nemo like it deserved, but she left the band in a good place. There are some people who want to project and expect some juicy gossip or cat fighting, it's not like that. Saki just has a ton of other interests, but she's still a huge supporter and fan of the band. Btw, like LoveBites, Nemophila doesn't just stick to one style, they're just great musicians playing whatever style of music they love. The versatility of Mayu's voice is phenomenal. You'll notice that the more songs you hear.

Saki, that is the one that has gone is one of the top tier guitarists in Japan. And she and Hazuki has had a very good cooperation. So, of course it is a loss. But, what happens now is that Hazuki gets the chance to shine more and also Haraguchi-san on bass now gets the possibility to step forward.

This is with all 5 members. They lost the darker haired guitarist (Saki). The other guitatist (Hazuki) is on par talent wise with her. They are extremely versatile in their music and like the other Japanese bands they just ooze talent. They've already been releasing tracks with 4 members and thus far has been seamless. I've seen them live in Southern Cal and they were fire. Mayu has an incredible & versatile voice, her clean vocals are awesome as well. She's more screamo, while Yukina from Hanabie is more of a growler. You already know this, but the Japanese music scene is better than anywhere else currently. You've just scratched the surface, it will continue to be impressive. Fun fact: Between Nemophila, Hanabie & Lovebites they range in height from 4.9 to 5.3 ft tall. The bassist wrote this track to meditate to.

All 5 members are in all their MV's as Saki, the right hand guitarist, only left about 6 weeks ago. They have released a fewlittle vids since then but they're covers in the studio, not new MV's. They could easily cut it as a 4 piece so we'll have to wait and see what they decide to do from here on. Their MV's are excellent too, though a bit more melodic and with a mix of vocal fry and melodic voice.

Nice reaction,mates.... Nemophila is second favorite bands.. Vocal - Mayu Guitar - Hazuki Bass - Haraguchi-san Drum - Tamu Murata Guitar - Saki (past member) in this live concert still with band. They are talented band, unfortunately Saki leave band in this year.. i suggest to reaction Dissension,Oiran, Revive,Adabana,Odessy,Life,Now I'm Here

Great performance by Mayu and the other ladies 🤘 For me, the 'zen' interpretation lies in the unrelenting mantra-like harsh vocals which finally break into a 'zen momement' near the end of the song. Nice, another of my fave Japanese bands. For those moments when B-M aren't just aren't quite heavy enough. Hanabie is other great metal band from Japan. Oh, I just checked, someone already recommended them. Of course they did. Silly me for being so slow.

This song is written by the bassist Haraguchi-san and I do think she find this thumping noise meditative, as I also do. So, I do not think it is a joke, I think she is totally serious.

Fanbois saying losing Saki made them better are frankly full of shit. They are still all great artist and performers and I love what they have done since she left. But they are not BETTER, still great but not better. Sound wise they have built a catalog of great dual lead guitars. Would Iron Maiden be better with Dave Murray leaving? Of course not.
