YG has not state anything regarding of BM position as far we know is the girls only confirm that they currently have no leader. "Ahyeon is BM center" is only given by fans after watching Last Evaluation, but yes she does fit the title.

Because Korean laws prohibits a company from disclosing the actual medical/health reasons for a minor artist/trainee being placed on hiatus for health concerns, many netizens speculate why she was on hiatus. Those speculations ranged from leaving the company to botched cosmetic surgery to mental health. The truth is the real reason will never be public disclosed. From pictures and videos of Ahyeon pre-hiatus and post-hiatus, the only thing that can be deduced is that she lost a lot of weight and is not back to her pre-hiatus weight. When she was still on hiatus, a k-netizen posted about seeing her at a restaurant and that she looked unhealthy and had lost a lot of weight due to being sick. However, when that was posted, it was shouted down by netizens for being fake because of their belief that YG is bad and the most popular theories were (1) she was on hiatus as a cover for her being mistreated by YG and (2) she was on hiatus due to mental health issues.

Sooo... I don't know if your questions from videos were answered in comments or not but I'll try my best (specially as a YG stan from past 16 years 😂😂) First of all... This "servival show to debut the group" was popularised by YG Ent with THE IDOL of IDOLS debut (I'm talking about BigBang here.... Even mighty BTS are fan of BigBang, TILL THIS DAY and counting..) so I know your reference might be "stray kids" but I'm just telling this as additional info. Now, about 6 members debut, so they had a survival show called "Last Evaluation" and all 7 of them were announced as the members of "BABYMONSTER'' but few months prior to their debut "Ahyeon" THE 1st official member of group and one of the 3 ACEs of group had major throat illness and had to take break from practicing as well as recording for debut (which was already announced in may 2023 in same video of member announcement and fans were eagerly waiting for this debut from may to November 2023.. so cancelling it was not an option) so YG decided not to play with emotions of fans and announced debut with 6 members and explained why Ahyeon is not in the group in that same video... That's why they debuted as 6 members with 2 singles, Batter Up and Stuck in the middle. Now that AHYEON is all fit and ready, they re-recorded those 2 songs with all 7 members and had 2nd debut as all 7 members (or as we love to call them "BabyMons7er").

Glad to see someone from 2nd gen k-pop still doing reactions and enjoying them. Also, I might be sounding crazy here but mark my words, the dominance in live performances, specially in award shows that YG had with BigBang and 2NE1 in 2nd gen is about to get repeated by treasure and babymonster in upcoming years... (Well not quite to the level of BigBang and 2NE1 as those 2 absolutely dominated 2nd gen, atleast live performances and shows of 2nd gen)

The Last Evaluation series was released in early-2023. From the footage of the series, k-netizens deduced that the series was filmed in Spring 2022. They then used that footage to identify pictures of a YG manager with a group of seven unknown members at the Blackpink concert in Winter 2022 as the seven trainees shown in The Last Evaluation series. They then factored in that Papa YG typically tells trainees that not all of them will debut but then debuts all of them anyway (BigBang, Winner, iKon, Treasure). They then added in the fact that since YG does not assign managers to their trainees because they have a dedicated support staff that manages their trainees. All of that lead YG-stan k-netizens to conclude that the Last Evaluation series was simply a marketing strategy to increase hype and drama for the new YG girl group set to debut in 2023 and that all seven members were in the group, weeks before Papa YG made his public announcement of who was in Babymonster.
