The actor who plays Roy Kent says that the character has the anger of Roy Keane and the poetic heart of Eric Cantona so you were pretty damn close to being bang on!

So stoked for this ride with you A few things: the show started off as an SNL skit/commercial NBC did for their first season having Premier League TV rights 10+ years ago and they have pitched it for years. Coach Beard is a huge huge soccer fan in real life (and supports arsenal) Roy Kent is (unofficially) based off Roy Keane. Brett Goldstein the actor is a writer on the show and auditioned for the character after realizing he was perfect for it Pay attention to the music. Maybe the best show I’ve ever seen for song choices / lyrical placement! PS.. Don’t worry we ALL have developed huge crushes on the owner!

I used to get that too, there was a way to fix it. I reacted to Season 3 of The Boys and a bunch of Prime content since then. I recommend doing some digging on Google, there is a fix, I just cant remember what it was

Call it soccer, bro. That’s what you know it as. So that’s what it is. Brits who whine about it are just weird and child-like. And ignoring the fact that their own biggest live football show is called soccer Saturday.
