It's time to delve into episodes 10 and 11 of Season 1 -- In this double feature, we get to know Christopher and Adriana a little better, as they attempt to break into the music industry. Tony also suspects that there are rats in his circle. And we get to meet Dr. Mop and Glo!

I also think the writers are messing with us viewers ... showing how idiotic it is to go all fanboy over mobsters like Tony. When Dr. C. was saying that the only difference between the Mafia and regular business was whacking people, my first thought was "That's quite a difference." And yes, corporations do things that kill people -- probably a lot more people than the Mafia does. But we're talking about individuals here and who you want to hang out with and look up to. And there IS a difference in personally murdering people. And anyway, I also have little use for people who worship "legitimate" business tycoons.

Great job as always and i can't wait for the next episodes! I don't know why it makes me laugh so much but it always gets me when Cristy is just rolling along speaking English so fluently and then out of no where the Colombian side pops up. I love it, never change.

Christopher was just an Associate and not a Made Guy, that's what the cop meant when he said "semi hooked up" Just a fun fact: in real life only Made guys attend a "sit-down" Christopher & Hesh wouldn't have been allowed as they were only Associates ( Hesh could never be made as he's not Italian) and most certainly Massive and his people wouldn't have been there!

It's not Junior's insecurity that makes him act, he thinks that the crew is conspiring against him. That's the reason why he's taken it especially seriously when he heard that "that sneak from Manhattan" has also visited the place. Johnny Sack represents another Family, much more powerful one, and all these facts are fitting together like a puzzle in Junior's mind: he either acts first or let the things happen to him.

Its funny you say you like Paulie bc he's ride or die - he's the one member of the main cast who was actually a gangster back in the day - 70s i believe. Hung around w/mobsters, even did some jail time. So if he seems real thats probly why :) He also knew Jimi Hendrix, random as that is. 🎸

More of his life, his early days in the mafia, etc. And thanks! Yeah I've been hearing some excitement around the next two episodes, so I'm definitely eager to watch. 🤘🏼

Yeah, was an actual criminal like shown in the show: extortion, racketeering, burglary. There are few actors, actually, who were involved. Like Tony Darrow (Anthony Borghese) who was involved with Gambino crime family, extortion and ordered a hit (or roughing up) or something. The most hilarious fact, that I've learned much later, after watching the show couple of times in different stages of my life, is that Silvio is played by Steven van Zandt, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and member of Bruce Springsteen band for decades. He is been only in few TV&Movie projects, this is his biggest one I think. The man can act, and it's not and never been his 1st job, more of a side-gig.

GREAT breakdown again. Episodes 12 and 13 are two of my all time favorite Soprano episodes. Sorry about the KZfaq police interfering with your excellent Shawshank review.. Don't forget about Denzel's & Dakota's movie "Man On Fire". It's a brilliant movie. The story, it's characters and even the way the movie is shot is unique. IMO Denzel's & Dakota's best ever work.

Cooze is a slang term for vagina, a.k.a. pussy; not to be confused with Pussy, a.k.a. Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero; and furthermore to not be confused with Gennaro "Little Pussy" Malanga (the person Junior was going to whack in Artie's restaurant). 🤣 It's so easy for Tony to use cooze as Cusamano's nickname that he cannot resist; especially after the golfcourse incident. And when Cusamano meekly objects to the name, Tony lies to him and says "cooze" doesn't have that connotation any more so he can continue calling him that right to his face; even though they both know it does still have that connotation. 🤣 And just in case you don't know, a.k.a. stands for "also known as". 😁👍

Cristy, more fans than not consider S1 to be the “weak” season, too. You’ll love the rest. There are numerous S1 epis that are great, but I think the show got better starting in S2. However, with 86 epis, not 100% are gonna be triumphs.

Christopher picking what Adriana wears... yeah, that's Christopher alright. Just making a mental note to myself to come back with comments when you see... well, what you will see, will not say anything else. I think Cusamano, while being a good person, thinks of Tony as interesting token mobster-friend, and interesting fact about Cusamano himself for his friends, and not really a person. Tony was really trolling them about Gotti, because they were being obnoxious about him being a mobster, and asking all sorts of fanfic nonsense about the mafia or whatever.

People pay to watch others to react to TV series all the time. Especially great shows like this one, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, etc. Movies are great, too, but it's great when reactors have more time to fall in love or hate with certain characters, which TV shows are good at....usually
