Hi young man. Thanks for the glimpses of one of the most beautiful places I have been. It’s so nice to see that civilians are now permitted to ride/drive to the Siachen base camp Some facts that you and the followers need to know, Siachen name is derived from the Roses that grow there as also the Glacier is I think 76 Km in length and from the Memorial where you stand the Snout of the Nubra river where it comes out of the glacier is about 2 km, from there the glacier terminates and goes up into the valley.
