That's turkey barns there along the northeast extention of the turnpike. All them pots are heading in and out of JBS Souderton. Wouldn't be surprised if the cull cows from your area don't end up down here too.

First tractor I drove was a 74 R600 237 6spd. Pulling tri axel flats hauling scrap steel. 50,ooo kg gross(110k lbs) that had a 6" strait pipe on it and she sure would talk n send sparks in the dark pulling the mountains. Thing I did most in that truck was shift...constantly shifting. But was 19years old n Trucking. Good times.

The wheels on the trailer are called bud wheels.... The nut lets you take the outter off, the sleeve lets you take the inner off, then your stud holds both. Theres a socket for those that'll fit both, one side will have the hex to fit the nut, and a square to fit the sleeve. Each needs to be torqued individually too

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure being a military trailer it's 24 V but you said you're going to rewire it anyway so that solves that problem. As for the wheels: you takeoff the nuts the outside wheel comes off, and then you takeoff the square headed stud which is usually the opposite thread direction and the inside wheel comes off. They sell a socket that's multi use it has the hex for the nut and the square inside for the stud. For the brakes on the road tractor you can actually hear when you pull the button out and the brakes come on it sounds like it takes quite a while for the air to dump out of the brake chambers. Probably one of those aluminum brake valves is releasing slowly. Especially if the trucks been sitting. What I do is take off the line where it comes out of the compressor or air dryer if it has one right before it goes to the air tank. And spray some WD-40 in there and then air the truck up and pump the brakes and cycle everything a bunch of times and things start working a lot better. I give you credit lol if I tried pulling that trailer with no lights no registration I'd be typing this comment from DOT jail haha

I think those m970 trailers ran cummins 4bt motors for the pump. Lot of uses for those people swap them into jeeps ,Ford rangers etc. I think they also do swaps on Old whites and olivers and I think some of the older case ih had those in them. Any idea on how your going to mount the fan and pump on that yet? That under carriage for the power plant looks heavy duty could probably rig up something on that to be a center mount kinda like fff new trailer.
