FIRST UK Lotus EMIRA Protected with 3D Scanned PPF

At last, we've completed full PPF installation on the UK's 1st delivered Lotus Emira.
Taking the time to create our own patterns so we can guarantee the best, most complete protection package possible for these stunning cars.
We've got lots of these booked in so it's important for us to get them right from the beginning!
What this vehicle had:
- Full vehicle decontamination and machine polish
- Full body PPF using Xpel Ultimate Plus film, utilising Autoshine and Tinting's custom computer patterns
- Windscreen PPF
- Ceramic coatings installed to PPF, Glass, Wheels, Exhaust Tips and Brake Calliper's
- Coatings applied to interior seats and commonly touched areas
Now delivered back to our client to await plenty of fun in 2023!

Thanks for showing what's underneath the bonnet. This is the main reason why I thought to look at your video, just in case. :) I have looked at countless video reviews about the Emira, but yet none of them, not even those by the so called professional reviewers, showed what was underneath bonnet; very disappointing. :( By the way, great video. Autoshine & Tinting does extraordinary work. The 3D scanning is amazing. Fitting PPF is much more sophisticated than what I imagined. Merry Christmas. :)

Thanks mate, let's hope you haven't jinxed yourself by saying that. I said exactly the same to my mechanic 2 weeks ago about the cambelt on one of our vans, 3 days later it snapped 🤦‍♂️ see you soon and have a great Christmas

got almost the same specs and definitely going to cover it with PPF as well, as I intend to drive this car regurarly. A bummer that I am not from UK though :(

Dude, more pictures of the final product outside and in the SUN! Lovely install. How is the PPF fitted around the curve of the air intakes and will there be a seam there that will collect dirt over time?

Hi, sorry for the lack of end shots. Weather has been awful in UK and the 1 chance we got for Sun before we had to return the car it was just about to go dark! There is a seam under the air intake. We tried several ways and no way to avoid it due to the shape of the panel. Film does butt up against each other though so should be limited to what dirt collects here, and we also ensure a good coating of ceramic coating is also installed to ensure dirt won't stay for long. @@AutoshineTinting Thanks - was wondering if somehow the PPF would “stretch” to fit that intake, I know many exotics have tunnels that probably cause the same issue. So you basically had to cut a “funnel” of ppf to go inside the intake - any chance of any close ups of this area? Super job.

Hi H2, thanks for watching. I actually feel exactly the same and this is why we don't remove parts from the vehicle for PPF and use our computer cut panels. On this particular install, we created the pattern to fit around the headlights, however once fitted, I looked and thought it would be better if the headlights were removed so we could wrap inside this edge. What we edited from the video is me personally (trained mechanic with over 22 years experience) personally investigating what removing the headlights would involve. Upon inspection, it turned out to be 5 plastic clips to remove the front part of inner wheel liner, then 2 small 10mm bolts on the headlight. This allowed me to then drop the headlight down around 2cm allowing us to wrap inside the edge without removing the headlight fully. Nothing else was removed from the vehicle that didn't simply clip off (plastic air vents to the side of the engine glass, number plates etc). Our customers will also be given the option of us installing leaving the headlights in place or if they are happy for me to do what we show in the video.
