It only took me around 7 months, close to $10k in cost, and a a lot of studying to now be at the point where I am a licensed real estate agent in vancouver and am starting to make business happen!

Well this is so cool Adam! So EV give you some listings and then it's up to you to show the houses to people and close the sales? Interesting to know about the process. My intention is moving to BC from Europe in 2023, can't wait to find out if I'm gonna end up in Vancouver or maybe Victoria...love BC so much and I can't wait to explore more of Canada once I have a base there! 😍

Congratulations on the new job! It is a tough competition there. The $14 million house in West Van looks really nice, but according to local comps it may be worth $11-12 million. The developer will make a lot of money anyway, if advertised in Shanghai or Hongkong.

Adam … (1) CONGRATULATIONS! on your new career. Something tells me you’re going to be big in due time. You’re handsome, friendly, driven, and want to succeed. All “ingredients” for success. 😉👍🏻. (2) A suggestion … as you become successful and get more listings, I suggest that if you are the listing agent that you employ Matterport into your listings. I’m in the midst of purchasing property here in the lower 48 and I find it extremely helpful to be able to “walk” through the listings of those properties I wish to consider purchasing. It saves me and my Realtor time in that I can narrow it down to properties that I’ve “walked” through and that have peaked my interest ahead of time. Just a suggestion. 🤔. Also, one thing that seems to irritate me when going to a property I’m interested in is when the agent can’t answer basic questions and is not prepared. Case in point … I was looking at a property my Realtor took me to. List price is 950,000. I asked three basic questions of her. It was like she was a deer in headlights. She immediately started to text her office. I simply said … don’t bother. Clearly you’re not prepared. If at the end of the day and this property is in the top three, my Realtor here will contact your Broker for the answers. 🤨. Moral of the story … be as prepared as you can be about the property. Think of possible questions that a prospective buyer may throw your way.

Great points Rob, really appreciate you writing these out for me 🙌 I always try to have every question answered at the time and place, sometimes over preparing even. But that is exactly why, what you explained, I don't want to give off that look and be uninformed👌 And regarding matterport, you're right again! I actually plan to start using matterport right away for the walk through tours. It saves everyone time, people and agents on both ends of deals! Will for sure be a tool I'm using :) Appreciate your cotinued support on the videos and channel Rob, means a ton !!
