Hope you will do a Q&A letting us all know how you managed to go from a 2 bed starter home to a detached 4-5 bed home. I am sure others are wondering how that's possible unless you had help obviously. I know you have been transparent on the past with the house situation. xx

I believe it’s mainly because they did not go for the maximum mortgage in the first place they could’ve got. They simply liked the 2 bed so went for it even tho they could’ve got a mortgage for a 3 bed. And now they have started doing KZfaq so potentially is the only the difference alongside their gained equity between getting a 3 bed (new build which are always inflated in price) to now getting an older build which is always cheaper as there isn’t the government help.

@@user-de1ht2uu5gStill doesn't stack up in my opinion. I am sure when they bought the 2 bed they said in their Q&A they put down a 5% deposit. I can't remember the length of mortgage payments but I think it was many years. Still seems unreal that a young couple can move up the chain like that so fast IMHO. Hopefully they will let us know. It's always interesting and I have followed Fab & Ell for a long time.

Just remember to do a couple of coats of watered down paint (or PVA glue) on the fresh plaster before you put your final colours on... Or any paint you put on will just peel right off! Voice of experience right here! 🙌 😂

@@fabandell man alive, it's such a pain in the backside, I had to pretty much scrape the whole bathroom back to plaster, using a sander and my entire life was full of regret 🤣🤣

Great video. Very interesting I would choose the light colour as it will make the room feel a lot lighter. I would also change the oak style doors to white to make the house feel more home like and modern. A nice grey colour would look nice like polished peel from dulux

In Canada and USA we call skirt boards, base boards. And love the lights. I also love the figurines , they're beautiful. Dishwasher tip, use vinegar to clean it. All you do is fill the soap dispenser and set it it to rinse and turn it on. And start

How exciting are all these wonderful blessings around you?! A new home, your baby boys, getting married etc. Loving watching the vlogs. Happy Thursday guys 💜 also I like both the flooring options. I think the lighter one makes the area look bigger and spacious but equally the darker wood looks cosy and probably better for footfall/dirt in a hallway. Whatever you choose I am sure it’ll look great! Xx

A few tips for your dishwasher, don’t buy the cheap tablets as they do not wash as good as the branded ones, I think Fairy is the best. You mentioned your dishwasher was smelling a bit, you can buy a cleaner for it that you use when it’s empty. Love watching your updates and your home is lovely xx

You have both done so much work on your house. It is certainly coming together and the boys nursery is certainly looking amazing. Hope you have more of a rest once you finish work, how much maternity leave do you get or are you not going back to work? Just can’t now wait to see the boys it seems a long time it must seem forever for you Ell. Another dishwasher tip: it's a good idea to buy a dishwasher cleaner about once a month and just run it through when the machine's empty on a hot cycle to keep it clean and hygienic - clean dishwasher = clean dishes.

Wonderful to see what you have done already to your new home, its so lovely. You bed looks so comfortable so important to get a good bed. I loved the lighter wood flooring and it is going to look so nice next to the wooden floor in your living room. Ell you are doing an amazing job with your pregnancy the last trimester is the hardest, but you are crushing it. Dishwasher ok regularly clean the filters I always ensure plates are scrapped well but don’t rinse also get some dishwasher cleaner helps maintain the life of the dishwasher and reduces lime scale which I do every 3 months also leave the door slightly open after use for a hour or so to avoid damp and mould smells happening. Also don’t over fill the dishwasher just use the spaces provided to ensure a proper clean. Hope this helps ❤

Pro-tip: while your brother is there plastering, drop the tv cords down inside the wall and touch up paint. It makes a huge difference in the aesthetics!

Dishwasher tips: add salt , run a dishwasher deep clean tab, rinse out the filters and wipe down the seals around the door on the first Saturday of every month.

I also think getting some white lighting would also help with lighting throughout the house, instead of the yellow hue most light bulbs 💡 give off

Good shout! The auto white balance adjusting on the camera makes it look worse but whiter bulbs will look nicer :)

Not long been following you both. Can totally relate with what you said about appreciating every moment of pregnancy. Me and my husband lost two babies last year, first in June then again in October. Worst times of our life. But now baby boy is due December 8th and I have never felt so lucky and grateful for a successful pregnancy. I think going through trauma/difficulty definitely makes you a more grateful and empathetic person. A lovely video 🥰

dishwasher tips... look up your dishwasher manual online. It will tell you what dishwasher tablets to use. Some dishwashers are picky and some dishwasher tablets can be too sudsy for your dishwasher. If it's too sudsy it can cause it not to drain properly.

Love the house! I actually have that exact flooring in my house. Its beautiful, but i wouldnt recommend it for a hallway and living room. If you spill water on it it will lift, and with the foot fall in that area it will probably wear. I would say spend the extra money and go with a laminate (Luxury Vinal Plank) flooring. They are more durable and look just as good if not better as they have a slight gleam that looks more like real wood.

Loved your video as usual! So lovely to hear you talking about when you found out about the boys! Also a thought on the TV wire, we drilled a small hole behind the TV and one near the plug and put the wire down behind the wall so you can’t see anything! Has to be a particular type of wall though but worth a go! We love our flash mop as well! Life saver 😂 xx

That is a good tip but I don't think we can do that with our type of walls (very easily anyway) but I'm waiting until we get a smart TV and then I will hide the wires properly. The flash mop is great!! x

What a great video. House is going to be amazing. The reason our bodies start to store fat is in readiness for breast feeding. If you watch Brad and Rach on you tube she has breast fed two sets of twins Hope you will be breast feeding. It’s tricky after a section for first 24 hours but you will soon find your routine

Something that is very important when furniture is placed in room make sure all is attached to wall as children will climb, open bottom drawers to climb, and furniture and tvs can become dangerous fall or tip over accidents for children. I also recommend putting locks up high on all doors leading to outside so you have no escapees. I know the boys aren't here yet but I probably would forget it later and while your placing furniture you might as well as make them safe. And Ell you are doing so great but you did make me yawn 6 times but it's OK I know how tired you must be. I know normal pregnancies are 40 weeks but as far as twins go what is the goal your doctor wants you to shoot for? Don't think I'm getting impatient I want those two to stay in mom as long as possible. Just curious.
