If you had told me a year ago today that I would be completing the first year of my doctoral program in counseling psychology completely online...there is no way in hell I would've believed you. I am hopeful for the future and pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish this year. It has not been easy, feeling disconnected from my university and peers, blocking out the cruelty of the world, and juggling multiple jobs. However, I am grateful for how things turned out (even though I slightly...majorly) still wish I could have been in NYC this year. Still, here's to lessons learned, personal growth in faith and trust, and the intentional pursuit of a happy life!
