Can you explain something to me please? I want to start doing this myself as an independent contractor. I’ve contacted a number of companies in my area that work as suppliers/installers but its not worth for me to get doors from them and sell them/install them. How do i find out where they are getting their doors from? If i get doors from them they are probably taking 50% so i need to find out who the original supplier is

Wow very Interesting. I don;t have a truck but i have a regular car even if i choose to do repairs only i can use my car to go to job sites.

As long as you have enough room for springs and cables, you can surely do repairs from a car. Only certain repairs, however. And when it comes to installations, you need to have a truck or van to carry the panels, tracks, opener, etc.

How much cost to get the costumer

Most people in the business spend between 20-60 dollars a day. With 20 dollars a day on google you would land about 3-4 service jobs that average around 400-500 dollars each. If you prefer more calls then you would spend more per day with google. Hopefully that helps. Either way the profit margins are huge on the ROI

We currently do not have lessons on this type of spring, but we do have lessons teaching you how to replace the type of springs seen in this video!

You only make that type of money if you’re on the company. It’s a major point you forgot to leave out. Service tech does not make that type of money.

To own the company you have to have a reliable supply of springs. Most of the companies you have to be a licensed dealer. You’re missing some major facts to your video. What are you go to Home Depot for your springs? It doesn’t work that way.

@@patrickswisher1546 We supply a list of where to get garage door parts and supplies to all of our students. There are several different companies that supply this other than Home Depot, Patrick.

@@GarageDoorTrainingSchool So you have no legit way to provide springs? Or professional LiftMaster products? Everything you do is based out of Home Depot? I don’t mean this rude but that’s what you call a hack.I clean up your attitude for a living. I can’t even describe how many jobs I’ve been to with amateur installation. Let alone shitty Home Depot products. Do not be fooled, if you want to do garage doors work for someone who is a certified lift master and/or genie installer.

You still did not explain how you get building supplies. You cannot make that type of money without owning a business. Garage door repair text cannot magically go out on their own and make money like that because they have no access to the building supplies. I don’t mean to be rude but your video is missing valid points.
