Protests across Kenya against President William Ruto and his administration show no signs of dying down. Kenya's capital Nairobi continues to remain on edge. Police hurled tear gas to break up protesters who gathered despite Ruto's decision to withdraw the Finance Bill. The military has also been patrolling the streets of Nairobi as roads to the parliament remain blocked. Ruto government says it will now work on austerity measures and would begin cuts to the Presidency's budget. Watch this video for details.

Kenyans should arise above the drama and now demand Salaries of MPS, Senators, MCAs, Governors, deputy governors, Cabinet Secretaries, county secretaries, president, deputy president, principle secretaries to be cut by 50% and all the crazy allowances to be scrapped. The money saved from that can then service loans.

India should learn from Kenyan people and it needs to cut the presidential budget as well (in fact, ABOLISH this position) .... billions being spent annually for WHAT ?? A symbolic ceremonial post with practically zero power ?! Respect to the Kenyan people for taking the right stand.
