Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the significant progress under the Make in India initiative, celebrating the achievement as a major milestone. Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauded the development, expressing his commitment to creating a supportive environment to further enhance India’s defence manufacturing capabilities. Why does India refuse to sell alot of their firearms to the civilian market in the us ? Even a lot of anti gun countries sell to the American markets. It would be a great way for India to boost its exports and relations with the us .The Indian Insas rifle is one of the few rifles in the world that can’t be found in the us because the Indian government refuses to export them to the civilian market .

@@mth469 actually you would be surprised how many fn weapons are sold to civilians . Most of these guns are converted to semi auto which isn’t very difficult. That’s how Americans get semi auto variants of most rifles from other countries .

You think they would purchase something like INSAS over their AR guns. AR is very popular in America both in civilians and military as well, INSAS doesn't provide accuracy and it tend to harm one who's holding bcoz of recoil, it can't compete AR, AK rifle, if we use outdated guns like INSAS we are done in WW3. India needs its domestic best rifle and needs to provide finest military equipment to soldiers amid dengerous growth of china.

HAL should work faster on Tejas MK2 and produce the ones ordered on time . Indian military needs more submarines , Government should now look at strategically divesting some stake in HAL, Mazgaon Dockyard and Cochin shipyard whose share prices have increased and use the divested money to order more submarines, naval assets and aircrafts . Which will be a great boost to the defence needs

there's AK 47s or ak74s from Russia, Romania , Yugoslavia, Hungary, East Germany, Egypt, China , Poland, Bulgaria , I'll have to google it...I always wondered if there's aN. Korea one nobody saw , I like the Yugo m70 iirc , it has 10mm longer to the gas port on the barrel and the handgaurd is one notch longer , it has a flip up[ grenade sight with gas port block lever , i just like that one best for some reason ...with the 16.4 " barrel you can add vertical grip and folding stock , I always wanted a pistol version with drum magazine but the rifle is only inches longer folded

During congress rule all we did was import defense equipment including uniforms, bullet proof jackets, guns, etc..... now we are exporting..... Thanks modiji

No matter what, INDIA is shown as a strong and powerful country now! First step the govt did was to take care of our soldiers! We definitely don't want to go back to the pre-modi govt era! If Dhruv Rathe is so much concerned about the so-called poverty here let him sit and watch Mr. Beast videos.
