China has forgiven or taken a hair cut on some of the debt from 2 or 3 African countries. So called "debt traps" is not only a term created by US politicians but a practice used by the US. The US has taken natural resources & agricultural products such as cocoa for chocolate products from African nations at below fair prices. This practice by the US has forced the use of child labour on farms and in mines because their parents don't make enough money to send them to schools. I realize China has some policy that threaten borders with India and I for one empathize with your position in these matters, however, so called "debt traps" are definitely an American tactic.

Modi : 'You can't secure peace on the battle field'. That is a bit hypocritical given that he urged Russia to supply arms to India, expeditiously. Why does he want arms if he truly believes that peace can not be achieved by use of arms.

Exactly i liked Modi but after that statement it seems that the US is closing in on them they will probably subdue them again. Just imagine you cannot secure peace on battlefield but when his country is in question then je says more weapons if they need in case of war with Pakistan that word's would be like US said them double standards.

There are signs in Pakistani politics that Pakistan does want better relations with India. India should be large hearted and respond positively. The people of Pakistan suffer because of the intransigence of the entrenched establishments in Pakistan and India both. India should be open to trade with Pakistan and people to people contacts between the two countries. After all, India's trade with China keeps growing despite the existence of border disputes between India and China. Pakistan is suffering because of insurgency in Baluchistan, therefore, we can understand India's pain because of the insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir. However, shutting down trade and restricting visas between India and Pakistan does not put us on any hopeful trajectory.

Messages dont work in war. Reality has no ambiguity in responses of attrition. The enemy not only threatens but also acts. The effect and calculated potential of actions are not good enough for adversaries especially those uncommitted to be "scared off" when they already "know" , capabilities and limitations.
