I saw someone refer to this song as "divorced dad rock" recently which kind of blew me away because I still think of this as current music. Felt ancient. So I don't know how much credibility I have in saying this, but this cover didn't sound like "divorced dad rock" to me. It just sounded great and made me feel young. Rock on guys.

I hadn't heard that song in years. Awesome choice! This kinda reminds me of one of my favorite bands "Ra" I think Audra could easily cover Sahaj Ticotins vocals and the band might find a little fun in learning and playing some of their stuff. One song I have in mind is "Broken Hearted Soul" from their Black Sun album. "Do You Call My name" is also another excellent choice to try.
