Хана Тен работала до моего прихода в группу. А запись на пластинке произведена с моим участием с группой ,,Фирюза” в Москве (ГДРЗ) в 1979 году. И на фото стою со скрипкой я, Гасан Мамедов,а не девушка по имени Хана!

@@badkampot Список сохранил! спасибо большое! По политике давайте не будем в рамках альбома Фирюза. Я считаю, что нет белого и чёрного здесь (по всем примерам). И бесконечно очернять одну сторону и обелять другую - это уже пропаганда. (пусть бы пропагандисты сами и воевали друг с другом). Что касается советского наследия, в том числе в республиках Средней Азии, то это абсолютно уникальное достояние, я считаю. И не понимаю, зачем очернять СССР как "империю зла", хотя там люди тоже жили и творили, и нам просто не понять, что там было хорошего и плохого. И зачем обесчеловечивать и называть своих же близких "врагами" это ужасно. И вот этого обесчеловечивания в СССР как раз не было. Можно посмотреть фильмы Ишмухамедова Влюблённые и Нежность, классные.

I was in Firyuza when I was a kid. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world. Now, this band reminded me of that place, and music is so gorgeous too. I hope to visit Firyuza again but it's unlikely. However, I can listen to them and feel this nostalgia.

@@slavden I actually have not, do you mean the Turkmen civil war in the years after the Russian Revolution as part of the larger Russian Civil War? Seems more like a (terrible, of course) side-effect of the transitionary period than something characteristic of the entire socialist era.

I believe this album to be one of my favorites from this collection, there are some ideas and melodies which come from Santana, John Mc Laughin, and a handful of other influencial jazz fusion artists that came a few years prior, so i'm guessing in Turkmenistan they must have had access to western music, thru black market and so forth, too bad this album couldn't make it the other way around, there is also an unimitable vibe to this cosmic album which bears some very traditionnal harmonies, i can picture the soviet psychedelia eating shrooms in lost rural mountains on a day where production could relieve it's self, and feel some strange spirit of the land spread it's fantastic wings surfing on the high winds...

+yvon huynh - why not? talent doesn´t care about politics or geographics, it simply shows up, where it wants to haha... :-) i lived in hannover for almost two years, and that´s a town with many, many street musicians, many from russia especially, and every single one of them was brilliant, some utterly incredible, believe me... and then you get a lot of polish jazz on this channel, most of it is top ranking - i remember, that my brother had been to poland in the mid 70s, and there he went into a jazz club and came back with several records, wow! one of them was by adam makowicz, i just listened to it again here on "funked up east" - immaculate stuff... cheers from germany... :-)

Сабир Резаев (сакс) кажется умер не так давно в Ашхабаде. Скрипач на обложке Гасан но на сколько я знаю с ними играла Хана Тэн она умерла ещё молодой. Дмитрий Саблин умер тоже в Ашхабаде. Алик басист где то в России живет. Миша Мамедов в Казахстан уехал года 3 назад, Евгений Ночевный в Казани живёт, а Игорь Гордеев в Германии.
