That structure is a "Radome", basically a dome radar as the name suggest and whoever runs such things, they are usually pretty anal about prying eyes ;)

Section win Dave, a fine effort! you are definitely getting closer to No 1 but machines like Andy Power take some beating. Westwood is a lovely place and very well looked after by the team there. Had 2 visits and loved it , just wish it was a bit closer. 4hr drive. Keep On Baggin!!

Tidy match Dave and a nice little pickup, always up against it when the"powers" fishing good luck on next qualifier. The weird looking mast was probably some communication mast maybe to do with military, hence the guy shouting at ya.

Well done dave on the section win ,I don't think you left to many fish in your peg really and think you would have deffo taken your weight from the off.Glad you enjoyed your away at roach farm,I've got a van in skeg and we used to fish most of our matches at roach farm ,I used to do really well there winning all but one of them mainly method to island,not as good now cos island chucks have overgrown trees and stuff.Anyway enough of 5hat ,so good luck for up and coming matches pal.cheers.
