LMAO!! 🤣 Chris is totally right, there’s no way she wasn’t talking about actual driftwood!! 😂 Also - it’s true, I’m always asking my boyfriend to watch my tank with me and I even asked him if we could aquascape his 200 litre together! He’s so not interested (we both have these fish because they’re rescues as they were neglected and a lot were dying and then his uncle went overseas but I seem to be the only one out of the two of us that has become completely obsessed!). I’m also seriously broke but I just got my online order of another corner filter and two test kits! YAY! 🥳 I LOVE THIS CHANNEL SO MUCH!!! ❤️

9:26, I got a male beta maybe 2 months ago, originally in a 2gallon bowl. I now have in a planted 20 gal tank with kuhli loaches. Now, i have that tank, a 20 gal with 5 females, and 10 with a male & 4 Harleys.

my school recently got a five gallon tank with blue gravel, and a football goal for 2 goldfish, i emailed my principal, and am bringing in fake plants for the tank tomorrow! hope to get them an upgrade too!

That random blue stone is actually a piece from the old fashioned telephone pole on the right side! They used to have blue or green glass caps covering the electrical wires attached to them. And since this pole is old and abandoned one of the glass caps has fallen off. The rest of them are still up there though!

re betas are gateway fish for MTS: i got The Tank ready for a beta, i came home with rabbit snails. fast forward not a year: tank 3 is almost ready for my purple snail breeding program, tank 4 is where Bad Snails go to meet my bumble, Vlad The Ensnailer, and tank 2 is almost ready for my first beta, assuming i don't see another snail XD TOO ACCURATE CHRIS

Idk how many years later, but Chris is sooo right w the more immersive exp w watching shows (anime for me) with good headphones. I was watching Fire Force a few years ago on the old phone, and my son was needing quiet so have me his good headphones... Holy guacamole!! The difference in quality was insane!! ✨✌️✨

About the bright green pebble you saw not sure if anyone made mention of it to you can be a nutrition thing for the plants so they grow better, which means it'll disappear. I just learned this before watching this video. Hopefully that helps for your future videos. :)

I’m working on my first planted aquarium, it is 5 gallons and I will put a betta in it when it’s fully planted. So far it is looking really good but I was having algae problems that made some of the plants die back. I have no CO2 yet because I only have $20 to work with every week but I am saving my money tho get it. So far I am really enjoying it :)

chris, love this twist on ftr. finally some evidence that there is good in the world. could you do an ftr that is strictly for tanks that are "getting there" but still need work. maybe the 2/5-4/5 range? could be helpful for the n00bs out here to see a variety of problems (functional or aesthetic) and some advice

Wlao I'm from Malaysia and I'm 14 yrs old and I can't not pay attention in class because the teacher asks everyone question since each class has a total of 60 people or less. Also the teacher wants our camera open at all times and I can't fake a broken mic or camera because the school said all impaired electronics must be fixed before 07 November and it sucks. Talking about betta fish being the bast way to start a passion, *me* - wants nothing more than a pretty scraped tank with a small school of neon tetra I've always loved them. They are like tiny rainbow arrows and they dart about so nicely. I've been studying them, what they like, if they like Co inhabitants, what plants they like, what they eat, and one day, when I have the money I'm going to make a start. I'll be starting with only plants to begin with, till I can get them growing how I want, so just plants and substrate, once that's looking how I want it to, then I'll be adding a small school of tetra

The thing is they aren’t very hardy, so I would recommend cardinals instead. Media says their hardy. Who knows?

I just brought home a new betta today. I had an empty spot in that tank for a while, but wanted to wait until I moved to get anymore fish. He seemed more stressed than I'm used to, but hopefully will settle in well.

Try using Hifi in ear monitors. They're also noise cancelling and less bulky. There are budget friendly ones.

If biggners want to setup a tank, set it up in minecraft. No ammonia(no fish death) No cost. It gonna cost a little if you dont have a minecraft account

This is so positive and I just enjoyed the nice tanks! The only thing I was missing was some zoom ins on these amazing tanks! I know sometimes image quality effects this, but these are the kind of pics you could get list in lol
