I love the videos you post!!! Please dont be discouraged due to lack of activity in comments and subscribers, it takes a bit for a following to grow here on youtube, specially with a niche such as taxidermy! It wont happen instantly but with the very informative videos you post Im sure they will catch traction soon, another way to get a following quick is to post the youtube video on facebook groups or other social media so beginners will view your vids!!! 456 subscribers aint that bad either, just keep at it and youll get there!!!!

I hope you find the motivation to continue your transfer of skills onto a new generation of taxidermists. My personal motivation to learn taxidermy is to help preserve the memories of the hunt, catch, ext… be it a first deer, personal best or just a father and son weekend. There is always a story behind the mount. If I make a few bucks on the way. Well even better. Great video and a wealth of knowledge. Please continue..

Hey Kevin, what’s your method of preserving the skin?

I talk about this in my Skinning a LM Bass video. But usually soak skin in borax solution overnight.

Can i use denatured alcohol and water to preserve the bass mount also
@kstenzel2010
@kstenzel2010 7 ай бұрын
I know some that do, but I have never gone that route. The most important part is removing all the meat and ending up with a clean skin.
