Interesting to see SL cutting techniques are similar to India for this fish. In India, most katla do not have such dark fins and scales though. This fish isn’t even close to 50kg, my guess will be around 18kg.

@@menzimngadi6793 freshwater fishes are less dense than sea fish. Any sea fish this size and girth would be close to 50kg. However, the largest katla I’ve seen in life was much bigger than this one and weighed around 28kg.
