Very touching words sent out into cyberspace. Staying sane and serene and caring for a loved one even when the going’s rough ain’t easy. In France they say: «chapeau!» (“I tip my hat”, an old-fashioned way of paying due respect)

My father died last November (83 with Alzheimer's). My 80 year old Mum looked after him with help from us Kids all the way. I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I'm thinking of you now and you have my very best wishes and deepest respect.

Diogenes Senna, I thank you & feel for you too.The sadness is a constant alive or departed but it doesn't diminish the love with which we care for those who can't look after themselves any more. Take care & my good wishes to your family. It doesn't matter that we don't know each other, we're both part of the human race.

@@pennysargent9557 as someone who's had to watch his amazing, intelligent, bright, inquisitive grandfather slowly destroyed by dementia, I feel for you both. In a way, the Corona virus that took him last year was a blessed relief, to him and to everyone who knew and loved the man he used to be. I've not seen their film, but I will look it out now. My love, respect and thoughts to you both.

Saw these guys for the first time at the Skegness Folk Festival, Butlins 2018, we thought they were awesome then! It's so refreshing to see' boy bands' who sing from the heart with pride, dignity and traditional values. We saw their film on 16/03/2019, such a heart-warming story of the value of true friendship, bravery, love and great singing, certainly touches your heart, definitely a must see!

Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues We're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows? Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues Leave all your furrows in the fields where they lie Your factories and offices, kiss them all goodbye Have a little faith in the dream maker in the sky There's glory in believing in And it's all in the beholder's eye Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues We're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows? Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues Turn off your engines and slow down your wheels Suddenly your master plan loses its appeal Everybody knows that this reality's not real So raise a glass to all things past And celebrate how good it feels Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues We're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows? Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues Wash in the sea of our own vanity We should rejoice in our individuality Though winds, gail force Will stear our course to insanity Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues We're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows? Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues Come all you no hopers, you jokers and rogues We're on the road to nowhere, let's find out where it goes It might be a ladder to the stars, who knows? I'm sure there are, but unfortunately the folk scene has been taken over by extreme left wing nutters who see it has a platform to push their agenda. And no, I don't care if the likes of Woody Guthrie did the the same years ago. The folk I enjoy is the stuff sung by our folk centuries ago before being led by the nose by some dozy political agenda became the norm.
