If you look closely you can see a rock tumbling down, bouncing off the face of the cliff until it reaches the water. Couldn't have asked for a better day especially since we only have an hour and a half to fish! Butter Boat 2.0 coming soon! Keep an eye out for an update!

You _slayed_ it out there. Like, legit chills from seeing you catch those lingers. I've only caught one legal one from shore *ever* and it was such a thrill and I go out fishing from the rocks all the damn time. To have it happen to you on your first outing? Damn son, you scary.

Hey fellas you 2 hit me up if you ever want to go catch a ton of Ling Cod in kayaks! Catch and cook ling cod on the kayaks! Limits in minutes :) I have fully rigged kayaks for all of us with electronics rod holders etc just let me know when you want to go and lets go!!!

One of my favorite things about your channel is when u cook and eat the fish you catch on the spot. I'm just a little disappointed that we didn't get to see you cook that fish with just a little bit of butter and tease us with how good it taste.

Here's a great fishing trip idea for you. Come to Michigan for some Steelhead during the spring run. Tip...Ludington and the Pere Marquette river. You've never had such a blast fishing as when you hook up with one of these silver bullets in the river current. What a blast!

Love your vid's I live in Washington state, south of Seattle near Tacoma and Puget Sound. When I was in my 20's in the '90's we used to fish off of a pier in Desmoines' The pier was was built with an artifitial reef. Lingcod in the 20-30lb range were normal. we would buy live herreing or jig for them or shiner perch for live bait. We used a salmon duel hook rig and a 30-40" leader with a swivel and and 1/4" tube and old spark plugs because the man made reef would take your tackle. you plugged your spark plug into the rubber tube so you did'nt lose lead. We put the first hook through the bait's back to keep it alive so it would swim around.loved those Lings and Cabazon. GIGANTIC Octopuss too. We have the biggest octopuss in the world here too.

I spent a week in the hospital in 1976 after trying to climb down a similar cliff to fish. The Coast Guard had to use a helicopter to get me off the beach. I lost half the blood in my body. I was lucky enough to not hit my head or my spine. I broke all my ribs on my left side and my left shoulder. I had a hemopneumothorax, which is a collapsed lung caused by internal bleeding in the chest cavity. This is a dangerous activity.
