PRAIA do ODECEIXE - ALJEZUR (22.5 km)
The first rays of sun timidly bathe the shores of Praia de Odeceixe as we leave it on its southern slope. Adjacent to this sandy area but sandwiched between ledges is Praia das Adegas, one of the 6 official nudist beaches in Portugal.
Then we face several kilometers outlining various incomings and outgoings until the Baía dos Tiros, where the path takes us a section inland to overcome the steep depression of the María Vinagre Ravine.
We return to the coast through Praia da Quebrada, a preview of the stretch of coastline that awaits us below, where the profile is more irregular, with small ups and downs and windings of the route that make it more stimulating.
We will say goodbye to the coast definitively in today's stage as soon as the views appear of the Praias de Esteveira and Baía dos Tiros.
The signs take us back inland to explore a landscape alternating farms with farmland, small orchards, pasture areas and limited stands of pine forests.
Rogil will be a stop along the way where we will regain strength to face the remaining kilometers with little incentive to the historic Aljezur, the hidden gem of the Algarve.
