I've packed a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child, ministry of Samaritan's Purse. This box is for a boy 2-4yrs old and is dedicated to my son Jeff.

I lost my son Jacob when he was 24, and I too am a widow. Such a profound sadness but isn’t it awesome knowing that we will someday be reunited with our loved one’s for all eternity? May the Lord continue to give you peace that passes all understanding!

This is a beautiful tribute box to your son. You packed so many things any 2-4 year old boy will absolutely love 🎣 🐟 🐠. I really love the magnetic fishing toy. And the firetruck is great. You can’t beat the quality of Melissa and Doug for wooden toys. Thanks for sharing, Pam!

Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment. I really love packing these boxes and love the smiles on the children when they receive them-I watch those videos of the kids receiving the boxes on the OCC site and it blesses my heart.

Pam, thank you for sharing about your son Jeff and for sharing this box in his honor. My husband passed almost 3.5 years ago as well after almost four decades of living with MS. I share your sorrow in your losses, and your peace in the knowledge that we will see these loved ones for eternity in Heaven. Blessed assurance! Shopping, organizing and packing OCC shoeboxes brings me much joy and purpose. I'm glad to get to know other OCC packers through these videos as we share ideas, finds, hauls, inspiration and encouragement. ❤❤❤

@@beckyblackburn2211 It was very encouraging to me to read your comment. I feel the same way about OCC. It is so hard, as you know, to loose that one person who loves you like no other (except Jesus) and you bring meaning into each other’s life. OCC has been a blessing.

Thanks for sharing and all the inspiration. I send the same fising game. I remember loving a similar one when I was a kiddo. I LOVE the aligator noise maker! Just an aside, the volume on yur videos is very low. I have my laptop set to 100% but stil have a hard time hearing you. I hate to bring it up but thought you would want to know.

I have been trying to figure out why my phone is not picking up my voice very well. I’m glad you mentioned it. I’ve got another idea I’m going to try to find my thing you plug into your phone so you can talk into it “hands free.” Praying i can find it and that it will solve the problem. I love that alligator thing too!
