Coming back and rewatching this vid after I obtained my Curado DC recently, very grateful and happy to come from a cheap bait casting reel, to now the iconic Curado DC!!!!

For tuning the dc the best setting is number 2 and make sure the spool has no side to side play tighten the tension knob just to where there’s no side to side play

Women say men don't like shopping but, that depends on where we are really. I can spend hours in tackle shops, and buy two things 🤣 something about being in the presence of other sportsmen 🎣💪 A tip for ya, if your having problems catching fish. Know these two things where ever you are and you'll be fine. Know what they eat for one, you'll have much better luck. Match the hatch sorta thing. So throw those colors. Second look up, how cloudy is it? Is it bright out with no clouds and tons of light? Then look at your water, how clean is it. Those two things alone will tell you what you need to do. Bright out conditions make me move toward lighter lines and soft plastics. Cloud cover and lower light conditions help the reaction bite a lot especially when trying to get bigger quality fish to bite 🙂

I got my Corrado DC when I was 12 I got it with all my lawnmowing money. It was one of my favorite purchases ever one year later it’s still going strong and I love it just a warning be careful when fishing on rocks because that reel scratches super easily. I have so many scratches and nicks on mine

DC reels are the best! I’ve always liked dc reels, and I got my first Shimano SLX a while back and that led me to getting the scorpion DC then my true dream reel was the Antares DC. I always saw 1rod fishing with it and I wanted to get one. Then not to long ago I got my first Antares DC and it’s amazing

I already have my dream reel for musky fishing but I actually prefer just $75 Shimano reels with ugly stick rods for bass fishing not baitcasters. I wouldn't spend $$$ on a spinning combo just because Im cheap. Most of my reels are 5-10 years old and I give away a couple of them to kids every year just because my dad hooked me up with a nice setup when I was 15 y/o going on a fishing trip with my old fiberglass spinning rod and 1970 something reel.

Hello! I caught my first bass recently after 4 months. My dream reel is probably a shimano Stella because I’m getting into saltwater. Also on the topic of saltwater, this one guy had a van stall which is a really expensive reel for saltwater, and it lasted him 20 years
