In this adventure, we got daring and decided to take the 21ft bay boat 20 miles offshore in search of the King(fish) of the Gulf of Mexico. Under normal circumstances, it is unconventional to take a 21ft bay boat offshore to target Kingfish, however with light winds and practically no swells in the Gulf of Mexico, it is only right to take full advantage of the perfect offshore fishing conditions.
One of the most appealing aspects of Texas offshore fishing is the structure that the oil rigs provide and the variety of species that can be caught while fishing an oil rig whether you are bottom-fishing or trolling for Kingfish. Fishing Corpus Christi Texas provides world-class fishing, including some of the best Texas kingfish fishing. When deep sea fishing Texas, it is vital to ensure that you are equipped with the correct tackle/setup as you never know what you might hook into.

The gulf is just like a. If bay when the winds are light. Good commons sense is important. Know when to stay inshore.

All sorts of speed depending on the day. I just mix it up until I find what they like.

Oh after this trip I bought a gaff but I still broke 2 nets since the filming of this video. I also got a new net that I think will work out well for cobia.
