Chasing these monster fish is our favorite thing to do. JackCrevalle is a hard fighting fishing. Maybe the strongest fighting fish from inshore in the upper gulf coast in Texas! Nice video! If you’re talking about the noise the reels making. It sounds like your line roller bearing. Easy to swap out usually just one screw. There’s a bearing on the guide/roller that that’s at the end of the bail. Almost always gets water and bearing goes out. I always keep extras.

Yea, I called serious tackle and asked them and they said the same thing! I didnt thing that would be a problem but after I cleaned it, it sounded like a brand new slammer! Thank you for letting me know🙌🙏

Its a 10ft Squadron but I prefer something lighter and a 9ft. The 10ft sure does help cast farther out though. Thank You!

I thought it sounded funny when you casted, son I think you got the "conventional" 10' squadron, the first eyelet is too small for that reel. srry budy about the ankle. But one hell of a fish though.

Yea I called a local tackle shop and they told to clean out the line roller and yup. As soon as I cleaned it out, it sounded like a brand nee reel!

Awesome catch. Just gained a subscriber. I don't have much experience with jacks. But I target and catch alot of redfish. And in the spring time when there is a bunch of small bait in the water. Topwater can make all the difference. It's loud and it sets itself apart from the abundance of bait. May be why your xrap worked so well in this situation. Tight lines brotha. 🤙

Hooked up on one today at the gate and knocked me off balance and almost fell in the water standing on those rocks 😂. Fought it for about 15 minutes then bent the hook and lost it. 💔
