Fishing For Catfish At Lakeshore Park

After a successful fishing in the city event at Lakeshore Park in Newark, CA we decided to try our luck with these left over catfish. Water is clear but because it's shallow, the water is getting too warm. Great catfish habitat. An Anglers Lifestyle Moment.

According to the DFW website, Lakeshore was suppose to get a trout plant this week. I'm not sure if it's going to happen. But the answer to your question unfortunately is, no I have not caught trout there.

Great video, looks like lots of fun at Lakeshore! Saw a guy catch a nice-sized carp there on corn, if you're ever curious about trying for carp. Do you guys eat the catfish that you catch from that lake/is it safe to eat the fish there? Thanks!

I heard City of Newark is going to revitalize that lake. Hopefully, they fix the circulating pumps soon. Thanks for watching.

Chicken breast, shrimp, pepperoni worked just fine. Fiblink net was purchased via Amazon. Thanks for watching.

water is warm or hot so catfish should be actively swimming looking for food. You may have a chance.
