Love these vids Mr Hood!! I'm not arguing how delicious that looked, but its "TRINITY" when you are doing bell pepper, celery, carrots The Lord of the Rings was a TRILOGY! =) Keep it up and glad you weathered this last storm. I watched last years video where you biked through The Marigny after Storm X(?) and you went right by the B&B I stayed in this summer. WE LOVED IT DOWN THERE...now I just need to find room for my fishing stuff

Trilogy? Never heard it called that before. Its crazy how different places have different names for stuff. But here we call it Trinity, not Trilogy. Also side note, its crazy how underrated gafftop are just because their catfish...they are delish.

Yea, the video quality is terrific. This video is best seen on a large screen. The shots of the river are beautiful. Tri-anything works for a recipe like this.

Hey Mark. You're videos are just getting better and better. Didn't think that was possible but yep, you right. haha. Just a point of fact, I can't find decent chicken gizzards any more... They're all tore up from the way they are being processed. I love chicken gizzards to eat. Hearts are a little tough and taste like iron. Thank you Mark... really enjoyed the video. I get it on wanting Fall already.

Correction Mr Hood, catfish can see. They are attracted to bright colors. Both kool aid and jello don’t really have a strong scent. It’s the bright colors that attract them. That is why some anglers add garlic powder. There’s a whole paragraph on catfish regarding sight, smell, and sound in the game and fish magazine. Check it out. You’ll be surprised what you’ll read. Louisiana state university has studied catfish for many years and they have discovered they can see and hear with out having ears

We used to use chicken breast chunks as shedder crab substitute in saltwater and it works well.

Have you always put your spinning reel handles on right side? Most right handed people put thehem on left sideso you can hold rod with right hand.
@MHoodFishing2 жыл бұрын
Yes and the reason is because my father is left handed. I grew up right handed in a left handed house.
@chuckshipley9917 Жыл бұрын
I do it that way too since childhood.I'd rather have my dumb hand holding the pole and my smart hand doing the complicated stuff.

Brings to question. I purchased chicken thighs and gizzards for catfish bait. Un enhanced, the gizzards caught nothing. will adding jello increase the attraction to catfish?
