Welcome to my latest and well overdue episode of Chasing Shadows. You find me today on a slightly flooded and fast flowing Dorset River Stour after my favourite fish the chub, using my good old faithful stinky Cheese paste. Conditions are not the best, but i'm sure we'll find a chub for the camera today for you.

Cheers buddy.. not lost mate just had to have a break due to a few things happening in my life. All sorted now and im back angling again and bring you new Chasing Shadows. Great winter fishing....another big chub... classic!....It suddenly occurred to me that I have never seen a 7 lbr being caught on u tube....they and maybe even bigger must be out there somewhere....

Thanks mate, now there's a challenge! Love to have a 7! and on camera too. I've had them to 6+ but not on film. I,d best get to work on it then lol.. the Stour and Avon have them in, you never know how big your next catch will be? Tight lines buddy..😊

I buy my cheese bait and bloodbaits at Walmart I think catfish charlies blood b paste works well

Hay mate, jst discovered your channel, instantly liking everything about it. 👍🏽(subed) I've always loved fishing, from being a kid, fishing on the float, to adulthood using lure and spinners to catch trout, pike and perch. However, ive reacently took up feeder fishing, in the hope of catching a chub. So, my question: When does one strike? obviously if the rod bends around I know to strike, but this is not always the case. If I see the quiver tip fluttering...should I strike? Should I strike when the quiver tip is on the up/relaxed. I often find myself waiting and then realing in to find my bait has been gobbled up. Practice leads to improvement, but a thew tips or even better a video on this would be much appreciated. (Maybe demostrate this by filming the quiver tip, aswell as the different types of bites and when to strike) Thanks. Good fishing. (P.s. The quest to catch my first chub continues)

@billwarner5357 : Obviously you’re an occasional angler. You wouldn’t ask a Stupid question like that otherwise !!!!! Next week if he goes back there every Tom,Dick,Harry and Bill Warner will be lining the banks. Try doing the hard work yourself !!!
