FISHING IN THE MIGHTY ATLANTIC OCEAN #CATCHING GIANT GILBAKA

I admire how you guys can go out in such small boats all the way into the Atlantic ocean; I personally couldn't do it; it would be very uncomfortable for me; I remember an experience I had years ago when a lady friend of mine came in from the US and I took her on a local tourist attraction called the Atlantis submarine. It was also my first time going on the submarine and I tell you it was an experience I would never forget; the boat that took us out to meet the submarine was much bigger than the one that you were in; it had a seating capacity of approximately 100 persons, but let me tell you, the ride was horrible due to some really choppy seas that day. Even to get the boat hitched to the sub was a challenge because of how the waves had the boat dancing on the water. I vowed never to go back after that. Fishermen deserve every penny they charge for the fish they catch and more; that job is no picnic.

Danny enjoy them Gilbaka. We can only mouth water and imagen. Keep showcasing Guyana as it is the most uniek country in South America, waterfalls, forest, food and people. Going out fishing should be a must while visiting Guyana, with its dark murky waters it holds many fish species. Keep it up Danny, much love from Sint Maarten 🇸🇽

One of the best videos you’ve ever done Danny. It’s my dream to catch one on rod and reel in the Atlantic. Our dad used to sing in our boat and say lot of the same sayings like you.

Declining of fish is due to the unregulated fishing practices across Guyana and other countries. Over 4 billion people worldwide depend on fish for their protein. The world needs to develop strategy to sustain the fishing industry because it is not going to be there forever. Especially when we were adding more oil field. The oil field in Guyana produced "Brine or Produced Water" it is a byproduct of the oil and gas they extract. These so call "Produced water" is being dumped back into the Ocean which does create Havoc on the marine life and the ecosystems. "Produced Water", can negatively affect the soil and vegetation, impairing their ability to produce crops. According to scientists, "Produced Water", contain varying amounts of oil residues, sand or mud, naturally occurring radioactive materials, chemicals from frac fluids, bacteria, and dissolved organic compounds. This is another problem added to Global Warming. Denny Great Video. Thank You.

This is the very reason when Guyanese go back home to visit the shouldn’t cry to buy any kind of fishes to bring back over i tell you I know a whole lot of people who cry but I’m glad you are doing this video let them see, I know it goes both ways, when the fisherman knows we from overseas they jacked up the price triple I know this area ogle because I’m from ogle.
@rishiepersaud8677 Жыл бұрын
i grew up in number 65 village corentyne...and used to do exactly as these fishermen are doing....however, i think there is need for fish conservation on the size of fishes being caught. also the method of fishing by using those net killed many small fishes....there is need to use nets that will allow the small fishes to survive to that there can be a constant supply of fishes and keeping the oceans healthy.

I had to go back and do my research on Guyana, after hearing the language you guys were speaking. At first I was like; "that language sounds kind of Indian. Thanks to the internet I get to know the brief history of your country. I hope to visit your country one day. What an interesting country with beautiful diverse people and places, and the only country in South America that speaks English. At least I can find my way around easily there.
