I haven’t had any luck on the black drum although something over 40 pounds busted my line today and took me for a ride underneath the pickings ,, rn I Been killing it on the red drum in port A and Rockport (copano bay) the red drum are hot rn

And yeah man They are crazy rn last month around the end of august there was a huge migration of mullet at Horace Caldwell from 11:00pm to 7am crazy action, non stop runs I caught 5 bull reds all over 35 inches and I caught and a bonnet shark ! It was a weekday so The pier was empty that night I was fishing with a local who thankfully let me use his drop net 😭

Hey buddy, Could you please share what size and type of hook you used? I just moved to Houston and I'm trying to get into fishing, went out 6 times already and zero fish =/ I'm fresh to this I don't know anything about reading water, what time to fish, what rig to use, what baits to use, etc etc..

This was at packery channel bridge .. I believe it's called the 361 bridge.. its by where the boat ramp is but behind the bridge
