I flew north to go fishing for monster brown trout on Lake Michigan with my good buddy Eric Haataja. We were fishing by downtown Milwaukee. The bite was slow, but the trout were massive. I caught two monster brown trout over 18lbs back to back, beating my personal best record ( the previous record was 17lbs). We started the day off fishing spawn eggs and salmon skein and then later switched to crankbaits.

I like the trout fishing but it gets boring seeing a bunch of KZfaqrs do the same thing. Especially since you're just fishing in a marina. Go fish the rivers and streams for steelhead, browns, etc.

The marina is closed it don't open up to the public that's why you need a boat November is when they take all the boats out

Next summer if you travel to Minnesota I will show what a big salmon or trout look like my pb laker on superior is 34.7 lbs. that’s really fun fishing especially when the bite is good

I make two trips to Lake Michigan every year. Pro Tip: When Ican see the Kings and Cohos but they won't hit anything? I use the smallest sized Panther Martin spinner with a heavier hook. Black blade/black body seems to work best for me. The idea isn't to try and make them hungry but just to make them mad enough to attack that annoying little thing. Cheers!

Really awesome, trout and salmon put up a fight. It took me 45 min to land a 40lb chinook salmon on the Oregon Coast.

i don't understand why some lakes in cali are stocked with a lot of giant breeder trout that were fattened up at the hatcheries. Wild 10-15 pounders are the way to go

Hi I love your vids I live in Wisconsin I just went to Lake Superior for a fishing trip I caught a 32 inch brown trout it’s was huge it was fat too . My dads a fish expert and my favorite video of urs is 17ft sawfish. I show my dad all your videos and he loves them and thinks there cool that you live in Florida and come to Milwaukee. I love koho salmon . Steelhead. Rainbow trout. Splake. And obviously king salmon. Try fishing Lake Superior it’s amazing

Chase rainbow trout are relegated to streams and rivers. Steelhead migrate between the great lakes/oceans to spawn. Same species category, but a totally different fish.
