Another beautiful summer day on the water trying out the Slam Shady lure from Salt Strong and it definitely put some bends in my rod! For a minute there I was catching trout on every cast. Good time, thanks for watching!

I'm going out in my kayak on a river that dumps into the Chesapeake Bay and if the tail biters steal my Gulp too much I'll switch to Slam Shady or a FRED or Gold Digger, or one of their jerk shads. The only one I don't have is the Mulligan. I have some Z Man EZ Shrimp and curly tailed minnows too. Hopefully something will catch me supper and put up some fights. Gulp works well for flounder here so I usually try it first. Of course trout and reds and everything else hits them, but they get trashed quick sometimes. If the ribbon fish are thick I'll have to switch to a hard plastic. Anyway, cool video. I miss FL. Sarasota is where I grew up fishin'.
