I love mustad circle hookers for snapper. They aren't cheap but they're high quality and perform flawlessly. I use them mainly for catfish and other fish that like to swallow the entire bait. I've saved myself a lot of hassle removing hooks while using them plus the fish are ok which is good cause I usually fish for sport

Those Fish look like a hybrid of a Large Atlantic King Salmon and Snakehead had a baby. Hey Rob did you guys ever hook into a fish and then the piranhas obliterated it on the way up? Looks like those waters have the red belly and the Black piranha's which get Real big as you have seen. Loving all this great footage. Thanks for always sharing it with us.

I live in Brazil and here we call this fish “trairão” (Hoplias Aimara), which is very similar to the regular “traíra” (Hoplias Malabaricus), but the Aimara is bigger. They’re very very common down in South America and known for not being good to eat, since they got a lot of bones, as you were able to see. Still, people say the meat is not bad. Awesome video, man!

Great video as usual Robert. In Trinidad we call those fish JUABINE, pronounced Wabine. They have a lot of those "Y" bones but they are really good eating. Unfortunately over the years they have become increasingly difficult to come by. I am surprised that they are so plentiful in Guyana and the size of them.
