Fishing my favourite Flathead Spot on the hunter river has always produced some epic fish. Follow my day as I use the Daiwa Double Clutch and soft plastic lures to catch some good sized Flathead and Bream. Fishing at this spot has to be one of my favourite. It has never dissapointed.
The wind was up alot more then expected, so I had to find a spot out of the wind. Using a soft plastic I managed to catch my first bream. Not long later I was throwing the Daiwa Double Clutch and caught a nice plate sized flathead.
As the wind picked up the fishing slowed down and after some lost lures and alot of casting I picked up another small flathead using a Z man Grub.
On my way back to the boat ramp I caught my last decent fish while trolling the Daiwa Double Clutch.
